Hello all. My name is Deliana Weaver. You may call me Deliana, Dr. Weaver or any other name that suits us both. Since being transported to this site, I have been made the acting Head Researcher of the so-called Celestis Project, a Foundation-funded project devoted to the study and eventual containment of an anomalous entity formally known as Dichotomy.

Being a lead researcher, a lot of my time tends to sink into this project, so I would appreciate if any questions handed to me would remain on task. This does not mean I am not open to a little fun, though please keep this variety of discussions few and far between.

(Her pencil stops abruptly at the sound of a door creaking open. She looks up and there stands a tentative figure - striking blue eyes staring into hers, almost inviting reverence.)

“Hello? What’re you doing here? I didn’t have anything planned today.”

(She tries to remind herself of what C-A looked like, just in case, but finds herself coming up blank, despite having internalised the knowledge just yesterday. Strange… She finds it worth keeping her guard for now. The unfamiliar man speaks to her, moving loose strands of his blonde hair out of his way.)

“I heard you’re new. I like to get to know new people.. if you don’t mind, of course. My name is Adam Cira.”

(He has a distinct accent, but she can’t tell which one. Sometimes he pronounces the same word in two completely different ways, his voice is always contradicting itself. She doesn’t remember ever seeing a Cira.)

“Hmm. Well, nice to meet you, Cira.”

“And you too.. what should I call you? You never gave me your name, you know?”

“Ah. I didn’t, did I? Pardon my manners - you can call me Weaver. Deliana Weaver, any variation works.”

“Lovely to meet you then, Liana. You're the head of… something, right? I’m curious, normally they just have numbered names. What’s so special about this?”

(His eagerness to learn catches her attention. He’s still standing in the doorframe, having made no attempt to come further in.)

“They don’t, in my experience. I’d much rather keep such personal discussions between myself and a select few others.”

“Shame… I think some of my knowledge could be quite useful to you. Let me know if you ever change your mind, okay?”

(Cira shrugs and, before she can give any kind of response, pulls out of the door and closes it. Weaver attempts to return to her work, finding she doesn’t remember where she left off.)

I myself have less information than I’d like to, which is of course where you come in, but based on an interview I had with a woman who has been here far longer than me, C-A is a potential Keter-class anomaly with reality bending powers of a currently unknown degree. It also displays certain memetic abilities, for example memory alteration. I’ve reason to believe it also has some form of emotional manipulation. Based on purely guesswork, anecdotes and personal experience, it’s safe to assume that this thing has harmed or killed before and likely erased any and all memories of the victim even existing afterwards.

If my assumptions are correct, which they usually are, not to brag, then C-A poses an active threat to your “friend”. By what you’ve told me, it doesn’t particularly seem to like them at all, which is where I’ve concluded that it is actively manipulating or blackmailing them - otherwise, they probably would have told you themselves. Though, there is a chance they’re just keeping secrets.

I myself have less information than I’d like to, which is of course where you come in, but based on an interview I had with a woman who has been here far longer than me, C-A is a potential Keter-class anomaly with reality bending powers of a currently unknown degree. It also displays certain memetic abilities, for example memory alteration. I’ve reason to believe it also has some form of emotional manipulation. Based on purely guesswork, anecdotes and personal experience, it’s safe to assume that this thing has harmed or killed before and likely erased any and all memories of the victim even existing afterwards.

If my assumptions are correct, which they usually are, not to brag, then C-A poses an active threat to your “friend”. By what you’ve told me, it doesn’t particularly seem to like them at all, which is where I’ve concluded that it is actively manipulating or blackmailing them - otherwise, they probably would have told you themselves. Though, there is a chance they’re just keeping secrets.
