Customizing an app to my own needs is genuinely my favourite way of keeping my CSS knowledge intact

need more people in the world creating anti-ai alternatives to corporate software

need more random people who go "pft, this sucks" enough to create some open-source software that'll easily be better corporate slop

software architecture design is wonderous when it goes well

but when it doesn't, its just frustrating

and in both scenarios im thinking about it during all my free time for 4 weeks straight because i can't self-manage

is it just me that has a weird obsession with how "clean" the software I've used is?

Like, after I've used a social media account for long enough, it feels... messy... cluttered... tainted...

like the things I've added have only created mass amounts of clutter, and the inconsistencies in my posts make for a tainted list of posts with little coherence.

I've ended up stopping using Tumblr just because it feels like it's just cluttered with too much stuff, that is ultimately easier to fix just by deleting and recreating the account, which ofc is too much effort

maybe I'm just aiming too much for perfectionism? Maybe I ought to take some time just to resort through my following and stuff... No clue...

expanding on this, I wish more social medias allowed for separate feeds for different interests

I understand why its not like that, because most people would forget their other feeds exist, even if they enjoy them, but it would just be cool to have... again, maybe im just being a sucker over organisation... bleh, who cares

I spent so long hearing people claim data structures and algorithms is the toughest module in cs, and then it was the easiest module ive ever taken

i understand its sorta abstract and all, but like once you get the basic premise of something, everying else is derivable from logic or math

i'm convinved this assignment is actually really easy and only feels difficult because we're expected to figure out what to do through cryptic clues and hints

just any kind of non-cryptic instructions would be greatly appreciated but instead i get the pro-AI professors who cant calculate percentages and refuse to give feedback over email

can't believe there's so many professors at my university and I get THE ONLY TWO PROFESSORS WHO CANT EVEN DO PERCENTAGES

and i'd be completely fine with that if we weren't IN A STEM SUBJECT WITH MATHS IN IT

can't even expect our professors to know the content that they're teaching us and I feel like that might be an oversight
