My nephew has a severe peanut allergy and was the inspiration for Inclusive Animals!
When my children were born, I wanted to educate them about allergies but it felt there was nothing out there to help do this through play (which is how children learn best!)
The idea of a plush toy range came to me about 6 months ago, and I have been building the range since then.
The plan is to launch character books after the successful plush toy launch in the first half of his year.

idk where to send feedback other than here. I know you're just starting your business, and this is a super cute idea, but i think it would be nice to see stuffies with visual representation of the disabilities if possible, i know the horse has a stoma bag and the elephant has a hearing aid, but maybe the dog wish adhd could have a fidget or something, and the cat with autism could have headphones and a chewy necklace or something (i'm not saying this as a stereotype, i'm saying it as someone who's autistic myself i'm not saying all autistic ppl wear headphones and chewlery) so there can be a more obvious representation of what the disorder is for, and kids can know if they see someone with noise canceling headphones and a fidget or whatever they might be autistic and to be gentle with them. sorry this is a lot and i'm not trying to make it seem like they're not good enough or anything, i just thought it might be cute

The aim of the plushies is twofold like you have seen, I want them to be representative of disabled people as well as a toy for children that can spark a conversation around disabilities. I didn't want to fall into stereotypes which is why I didn't use the headphones or chewlery but I recognise that these items are used in the autistic community. You have sparked an idea in me though and maybe I could offer accessories for the plushies? So if people felt that those items represented them then they could add them on to their plushies. I plan to expand the range after we have launched successfully, I would love to have different autistic/ADHD plushies alongside the cat. The idea came from my experiences as an aunt of a nephew with severe allergies. I wanted for him to feel represented but also wanted my children to have access to toys that sparked conversation in a thoughtful way. Children learn through play
