She was this 17th century Dutch still life painter who, while being mother to ten children, went and became a really celebrated artist in her lifetime. Then there's Nikola Tesla who makes me cry a lot. And, well, my mother, I suppose. I never really met her, so that'd... It'd be nice.

I got hurt back when I played track in high school. They said I probably wouldn’t be able to run anymore. But the doctors I worked with made it so that I could, not as fast but at least I can. I wanted to do that for someone else.

Doesn't it? I do feel awful, but I feel like it was my responsibility to tell him. It would've been quite cruel if he had to hear it from his parents. Why, we were to live in his house with his parents and eventually get a dog. He also told me his sister would marry the boy from next door and live in that house, meaning we could all play together whenever.

History was always my worst subject. I can never keep things straight. I’m majoring in sports medicine and minoring in arts and lit.

I understand. I sometimes struggle with dates and probably make up things, but I've always enjoyed researching the past. Sports medicine sounds very exciting. Is it something you've always wanted to study?

The children I babysit are lovely, but explaining them why the six-year-old of the family can't marry me was quite tricky. He had made so many detailed plans for our married life and now feels utterly betrayed.
