Ok so the other day during rehearsal, one of our horns emptied her spit, which you know, happens every rehearsal. Normal thing. So my band director had to wait for her to finish and comically remarked, “ah let’s wait for her to finish her plumbing…”

Then when we started playing I heard I had spit too. So like the 107478483 times I’ve done before in life I emPTIED MY HORN RIGHT WHEN WE STOPPED PLAYING

BUT OUR BAND DIRECTOR WANTED US TO IMMEDIATELY PLAY AGAIN AFTER WE STOPPED AND WHEN HE SAW ME EMPTYING

HE PUT HIS BATON DOWN, GLARED AT ME AND SAID

“What’s with all this emptying today horns? This is strange you shouldn’t be emptying this much. You guys have to stop this.”
