Hey there! I have no fucking idea if anyone still gives a shit about this blog (it has been two quarters of a year since I last posted after all). It's almost the end of the year and I don't want any leftover baggage, so I'm making that pinned post I said I was going to make back in april (fucking 8-9 months and I still haven't done it).

I've created a new main @forever-labyrinth if you guys want to keep up with my serious and unserious projects. The posts will be quite scarce, but that's just because I'm not really on tumblr anymore (plus everytime I use this site I feel like I'm banging it with a shovel until it's brought to it's grave). If you want to see the type of shit I'm doing now then check out my dreamwidth journal (was gonna include it in this post but I'd rather people check out the new blog).

After this post goes up I don't intend to log into this account again (at least for anything other than going through my old posts). Tumblr was fun while it lasted, but I'm way more comfortable in other places now.

Alright guys! After a whole week I've finally got the paralive discord server up and running! The current invite will be valid for about 7 days and I'm not planning to make another public link for at least a couple of months.

After I make my final pinned post, I'm gonna start to phase out of tumblr and I won't really go on the app/site except to continue exporting my blogs (and also continue posting on that one sideblog I have?). So in the meantime I need you guys to spread this like wildfire. Even outside of tumblr if you want! I just want as many people to see this as possible.

So this will probably be my last update on the paralive discord server before I send the invite out (which will likely be sometime on friday), but I just wanted to show you guys a preview of some of the main channels.

All the channels that I've added so far will be considered final until the invite link goes public and I don't plan on adding any more right after 'cause I'll likely need a few days to recuperate my energy before I can get into being a full moderator (this shit has taken the life out of me for the past five days but it's worth it). You can still report any problems you may have in either dms or the feedback channel, I just may not be able to respond to them as quick as I can yet.

If you told me almost two years ago that I'd be making a discord server for that one fandom I've been seeing a lot on twitter through i7 accounts (but also that one tiktok with Reo before I even knew what paradox live was), I would've been confused but not surprised 'cause even back then I knew that this shit was gonna rock my world

So idk if I'll post any server updates today, but I do want to say that I'm gonna be posting a lot more of my thoughts on dreamwidth now! My journal is the same as my @ but if you just want a direct link to it you can go here. I'll also have it linked in my current pinned post and the one I'll make later just 'cause that'll most definitely become the place I write the most on (like character/fandom analyses).

As I start to phase out of tumblr I'm gonna be using dreamwidth like I used tumblr to write out my thoughts (though a lot more restrictive since dw has better filtering for posts+I do want to sort of serious about it). The only thing I'll really use tumblr for is to make updates/ask for feedback on the discord server before the link goes out, but after the invite expires (or when there's enough people already) then those will be done internally and I won't be posting on here or any of my other blogs anymore (besides ainanagifs). They will still be on the site to look at, but I'll be moving onto other things.

It pains me that I'll have to leave a bunch of you guys behind (especially in the MDZS fandom 'cause idk if I'll ever feel comfortable interacting with the fandom anywhere else), however it must be done. Besides the whole thing with the staff cuts, there's also some other choices that the staff has made in the past month or so that I've felt on-edge about (like making avatars visible on og sideblog posts even if you have them turned off wtf). I think it might just be my experience with other apps like instagram and wattpad where their interface over time suddenly got more and more corporate. I don't know if tumblr will ever get to that point, but I think it's obvious that the staff who make these decisions do not care about what the userbase wants and won't hesitate to run it to the ground until it's no longer valuable (whether intentionally or not).

I could explain why in the past few days I've found dreamwidth to be much better (especially for censorship and safety once you set the right filtering and privacy settings), but this post has gone on long enough. So yeah go to my dreamwidth if you want to see more of my thoughts on fandom or even just life in general 'cause I'll probably ramble more on there than I ever did on tumblr (I rambled so much in some posts that my brain had to take a break in between lol)

So when I made this blog I was planning to queue a bunch of random thoughts I had about Lan Wangji and then unpause the queue at a later date to let them automatically release daily. However due to recent events I realised that I needed to get these out as soon as possible. Regardless of if Tumblr is officially going away or not, I'm leaving. There will be a post on my main @incomplete-ruler (will change this to an embed link later) where I'll leave links to all the places I'll be moving to so I'd recommend checking those out if you want to see the continuation of inner workings like this (or you just want to see more insanity). If there's anything directly related to this blog I'll post it here too.

I mean I could be greatly underestimating myself but I'm currently expecting around 10-20 people to show up. Though even if it ends up being a small amount of people, I want those channels to be there for any new people that may come in when the invite is active (which to start will be seven days max and new invites won't be sent out regularly).

I'm currently thinking of a general chat and channels for each member but I need your guys' feedback.

I'm not done with the aesthetics of everything alongside OTHER important things but the names will definitely stay the same if you guys like them). Amprule and 1nm8's fan names were also suggested by someone so I decided to put them in.

Just so that any group that you want to display as your favourite won't be overriden by another group because they're higher in the server list.

So I'm setting up the discord right now and I just wanted to know what you guys want the fan roles to be called? I mean the TCW one will be a reference to the Kitty Heads and Visty's will be to do with Stellas, but if I'm left to my own insanity I might name BAE's something like 'Bitch Ass Enbies'

Also thinking of making the groups you like and the group fandom you want to be associated with separate because depending on where they are on the role list, another group that isn't your oshi could override what role you're seen as in the server (which makes it frustrating for people who like multiple groups like me)

Hokuryuu and Reoshiki GIF+shitpost (ParaStage)

Okay so I'm just clearing out my drafts right now and I absolutely NEEDED you guys to see the Hokuryuu and Reoshiki stuff I made awhile ago for the CHILLIN' performance in ParaStage before Tumblr is erased. I'll also be reposting these along with all the other edits/shitposts I posted on bsky and in the discord server (and maybe even on dreamwidth because that place looks bright so far).

So yeah here's this Hokuryuu gif I made from one of the moments that killed me the most in the whole performance (THEY'RE SO CUTE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH):

And there's also this screenshot I took where it looks like Reo is ascending/trying to convert Shiki to 1nm8ism (or so it seems):
