I know they didnt get into the cultural taboo of eating for eridians in the movie due to time constraints, but I like to imagine Rocky is just giant pervert who always had a thing for it and its just so much better on a squishy human... who he can see into and watch the food slide down into the stomach and be digested... rocky is a giant pervert specifically for grace's weird blobby body.
