It's been a while...

Its been a few years since ive legitimentaly posted anything... im sorry if you guys were ever wondering where i was. Ive been going through a lot these past few years, and recently, I've realized that I don't have a whole lot to live for like i used to. Im just kinda... floating through life.

with that being said, i'm trying to reconnect with old hobbies and most niches. i actually have left the loz fandom, and i've been deep into it since 2019. its sad when you think about it.

im also looking for like minded friends. friends that like ganlink and other discussions. people where we can encourage and lift everyone up when they're feeling down, and thus, im forcing myself to try and reenter my online space, even though its been a few years.

not to be an old cranky leftist but going forward i think those of us who live in the us need to remember a protest is not a group powerwalk to register polite disapproval with those in power

a protest is an implied threat. a protest says there are a lot of us, and we do not like what you’re doing. we are giving you a chance to course correct before we take things to the next level.

if there’s no shared commitment to the potential of moving to that next level: a protest is useless and essentially just public performance art.

We all know that Twilight has a lot of books in his house, more than what you would expect from a simple farmer. And headcanons as to what the books are about vary wildly from being farmer’s almanacs, textbooks for self-taught scholars, to (for fans of the manga) tomes of dark magic.

And all of those are fine suggestions. I really can’t complain. But do you want to know I think Twilight reads?

Dime novels.

Cheap books filled with the cheesiest plots possible that you’re supposed to read once and then throw away. Stories where overpowered knights rescues princesses in despair. Crime stories about the harden detectives of Castle Town. Serialized stories about the same overpowered hero and his eclectic group of friends he keeps on running into (you know the kind).

Try to get him to read a book on science, or history, or (at Shad’s behest) something of high literature; and he is put to sleep. He is an avid reader for dumb novels and dumb novels only.

He especially loves to read the cheesiest, sauciest, sultriest bodice rippers out there. And he unabashedly loves them. 

I bet he reads while he’s on the road a lot, either while he’s riding Epona or looking to relax at the end of the night. He carries a few around and he reads them all the time until the spines fall apart.

He does this so much that the other Links ask him all the time what he’s reading about over there?

And Twilight, straight-faced, not even looking up from the raunchiest scene of Lady Pennelegion experiencing the temptation of true devotion from her secret lover Sir Rupert Luckinbill Esquire: “Goats.”
