I hate... fanon archetypes. You know how people sand down their blorbos to fit into the same handful of incorrect quote templates and then they forget their actual canon personalities because they've gone too long without engaging with the source material? So i just realized I've reblogged this before, without having any idea it was from a different fandom from Red Dwarf. But it fits, so it sits.
You know what? Valid, especially since i have no idea what Red Dwarf is. This blog is dedicated to incorrect quotes related to books by Alice Oseman. I was born for this is the book Lister is from, and just to be clear, he's canonically bi (Alice's books are all full of queer characters and its great).
No shade to you at all, to be clear. I just find it neat that it happens to align with another fandom so well
I would like to add, Alice is a fan of Red Dwarf and has stated she named Lister Bird after Lister from Red Dwarf!
