this is the very first – and hopefully very last – time i am reaching out for the help and kindness of strangers over the internet. i've never done this before, nor have i shared personal details on such a level, but i believe i'm at my last resort. if you have time, PLEASE read and share this.
my parents have financially cut me off in the middle of my final-year examinations and left me stranded in the city where i'm studying after, among other things, finding out that my partner is of a different ethnic background to me and that i am lgbtq+, and after i refused to submit to an invasive body check. this is the culmination of 21 years of abuse i have endured at their hands.
i'm currently working 2 part-time jobs and have just sent out 20+ applications for more work, but i'm an international student in the uk and can only work for a maximum of 20 hours a week (which i plan to max out within the next week). my visa also disallows me from working full-time or freelance. all of this is compounded with needing enough time to study for my exams as my degree is very intensive. among the things i can no longer afford for the time being is trauma therapy, but at the moment i just want to be able to make my bills until my exams are over.

I need help, Dai and I are not in a good place…..
Starting last week Dai stopped eating suddenly, and also began urinating blood. I rushed her to emergency care over the weekend but despite numerous tests they were unable to determine what was/is wrong with Dai. Today we have started over with her primary veterinarian, who has to re-run the tests we paid for over the weekend that were inconclusive, as well as a series of xrays.
Dai is no stranger to medical misfortune, but unfortunately, the timing of this particular bout of illness falls right after a series of my own medical bills, Another unrelated emergency visit of hers from earlier this summer, and also the first of the month rent cycle… the unexpected costs of these tests and procedures have decimated my finances and I am currently shuffling around my last few bits of emergency savings just to keep my account from overdrafting with my other upcoming regular bills-
I am never one to ask for help financially, It doesn’t make me feel right– I always just push through and weather these alone, finding the money where I can. but I have been pushed into a bit of a corner in this instance…. so I’m asking, with a deep understanding of if you do NOT want to help. tommy: technoblade is like, he’s so confident and cool. and somehow, he just like, draws you in by being aloof. you know, you just see him, and you're like, "ah, i want to be like that" and then, you see him wearing fancy elaborate capes, and you’re like, "oh, maybe i want fancy elaborate capes” and then suddenly, you have a closet full of fancy elaborate capes that don't look good on you.
it’s all about love, isn’t it? and also it’s all about the fact that wilbur thought the stupid server could be more interesting for tommy so he got on it and they started a breaking bad bit that turned into hamilton and everyone loved it and it was all so fun that he sat down and wrote an entire season through a medium that no one has really properly used before and said I am going to revolutionize storytelling on the internet and make everyone cry and now it’s been a year and everyone on the stupid server is best friends who meet up and play dumb games together and it’s all because of love and passion and art and people being stuck inside for months and there are careers started from this and it’s all so big and I can’t really comprehend quite how enormous it’s gotten or how surreal it is that I watched every bit of it live and I’ll never get to experience it that way again and so much content is just lost to the void but so much of this story and friendship and crazy fucking year is going to be preserved online forever for years later and yeah I’m glad he thought that the stupid server could be more interesting
