hey so i dont really have a lot of time to waste here but my dog is really sick and we don't have the money to get her to the vet. Her name is Bailey, she just turned 9, and lately she has been trembling like a leaf. She won't eat, going to the bathroom seems to be hard, and she shakes constantly.
Bailey is one of the most important things in the world to me, and to my grandmother, the woman who raised me.

Bailey is headed to the vet in an hour. the $600 estimate may have been wrong? I'm getting conflicting information but regardless I've got a lil over $200 now and I cannot thank you all enough. i don't know if its enough yet but it WILL help so, so much. thank you
BAILEY UPDATE!!!
we ended up taking her to a different vet than the one who gave us the $600 estimate. the $225 we got in donations fully covered everything and i could not be more happy
the verdict is that she has hookworms. she is going to be okay though! she's drinking plenty, and got a couple shots. we have some meds to start her on tomorrow, plus some special food.

a slightly sadder bailey update
she's alive and breathing and drinking water, but she hasn't eaten in a week or so. i'm now im charge of giving her her medication, but she's barely got the strength to move. she's like a ragdoll.
we might have to make a second vet visit. we're gonna try to get one of those dropper things to feed her, and see if that helps.
