Think for a minute.
In times like this. We've learned to distance ourselves. Why? Because we still let race determine our lives. Christianity has become a "white man's religion" because it was "created to enslave our people". Disregarding the fact it has been around LONG before it was corrupted. It was corrupted before that (it's even IN THE BIBLE) and it'll be corrupted. For some reason black people can only feel empowered by leaving that Christian 'slave' mindset to "free our minds". The sad thing is, I KNEW I was a king long before I knew my ancestry (my first email address was KINGcj) I KNEW I was incredible before I was told of all the things my people did. LET ME BE CLEAR. I KNOW racism is alive and well. I grew up in it as a part of life. Before it was explained, we just knew we were different. So we stuck to what was "familiar" and MY PASTOR shed light on the Jesus that NEVER defined by color. And how God's LOVE didn't have a superior and inferior being based on color, because we are all the same in the eyes of God. He ALWAYS reminded us of our fathers before and how we must continue to bring up OUR PEOPLE, for OUR PEOPLE! But some people continue to want to address our oppression and they'd rather consider a book they don't understand (nor tried to learn on their own) than look at who manipulated it for personal gain. But they are the ones who claim to have a "freed mind" ??? Reading is essential.
