She was very worried about her younger sister, Sunny, at the time, giving that she couldn't protect her while at Hogwarts. Lucky, she was fine. but it still didn't stop Violet from being worried "Luna forgives you, she is a very forgiving person. There are some she cannot forgive, however"

"Olaf?" Draco asked. He swore he heard that name somewhere before, but it seemed to be lacking in his mind. It was most likely another Daily Prophet article his father showed him, just not one he could fully recall. "She really is a loony girl if she thinks she can," he said. He didn't mean it, at least, mostly. He still felt bad, of course. She was locked up in his house and could easily have been tortured for information like Hermione was, so naturally, even Draco was sorry for her. Normal people would have felt like it was their fault, but Draco didn't think so, he knew it was his fathers mostly. His insane need to be the loyal servant of The Dark Lord and all. "After everything my family put her through, it only makes sense for her to hate us, along with all the others."

"I don't understand people who treat anyone like a god" Violet crossed her arms "Quite silly, to be honest" she was grateful for what Harry had done, but Violet would never treat him like a god. What was the point of that, anyways? She had thanked him, yes, but treating him like a god was some sort of madness, as some would call it "Luna? She's nice, very truthful. But she can lie if needed, actually. Very rare that she will, though"

"That's how my father was with The Dark Lord." Draco added, almost emotionless. He just stared ahead, a blank expression graced his features. His fathers respect for the dark lord was deep, sometimes Draco felt like his father loved Voldemort more than him. Even if it was in fear, Draco still didn't appreciate it. "I've never heard about her telling a lie. I actually have felt pretty bad about making fun of her all those years." Back when he was popular, at least, when everyone wanted to be Draco's friend. At least, that's how it was in his eyes.

Violet had expected this, it was Draco Malfoy after all "You sure have a lot of hate from him... I can understand why, however" She knew things that happened to some people would make them negative about a certain thing or person, manly if they, or it, might have been the reason. "But yes, I'm sure he has lied about things. Who hasn't?"

"Who couldn't? Besides those who treat him like some kind of bloody god." Draco tightened his hands into fists, before slipping them into his pockets. He sighed, looking up to stare at the moon. He never used to take in the beauty of nature. His father always used to tell him that anything from the outside would most likely murder him, but truthfully, it was very beautiful. So calming, peaceful, he could almost forget the world. "I know of one person like that, she's actually in your house. She seems to think everything her father tells her is real, and she seems pretty naive, but she's truthful."

The question came as a surprise to Draco. He was, truthfully, just shocked that anyone even noticed that much. He merely nodded in response. “I’ve tried to do so, doesn’t seem to be working out that well for me.”

"These days it seems everything has lies in them, whether it be a person or a paper" Violet had to learn that the hard way with her parents sudden death back in her fourth year and soon saw the lies and secrets people had told her "This is very true, but they aren't being payed to think. They are being paid to tell they're opinions. It's quite stupid, if you ask me"

"Bet even that Potter's lied about some things. Everyone's been trying to make it up to him after our fifth year, it seems. He's still that same person, though. Still that selfish bloke who doesn't even think about how he affects entire families with his actions." Draco wasn't one to talk, really, but he felt he had every right to. He blamed Harry for how his father started treating him after first year. "If people wanted to hear an idiots opinions, they'd just have to ask Potter how he feels about that Weasley girl. Or even Granger. Potter seems to have had his eyes out on almost every girl as of late." Draco huffed. He was exaggerating, but he didn't care. Harry didn't even thank Draco for risking his life in the war, why should Draco care about him?

"Someone who agrees with that, than" Violet called back to Malfoy, turning around the look at him "I don't trust the paper, to be honest" She didn't even know why she was bothering with him, he probably wanted to be left alone. Something told her he didn't, however

"Mother always said it was full of lies. Should have believed her longer than I had father." Draco, truthfully, held a ton of disdain towards his father now. After everything his father forced him into, and into believing. He wished he could go back, and listen only to his mother now, not his father. "The ministry runs the daily prophet. It's just full of their opinions that they lack the knowledge to check into first. If they thought about it for even a moment, there'd have been no problem winning the war with ease."

"What kind of proof do you want?" Violet asked, raising an eyebrow. Okay so she could be a little bit nicer to him, giving that it seemed no one would take to him or even be a bit nice to him. She just wasn't used to being very nice to Slytherins, and they were never that nice to her "I suppose you would have, Baudelaire was all over the Daily Prophet at one point..." Her parents had been killed by a Death Eater with fire, and Violet had a pretty good idea of who it could be, and that person had been her first guardian

Draco shook his head. "Nevermind." He had to admit, finding proof would be completely difficult, if not impossible. At least to him, while he held all this hate for Potter and almost everyone else. "Father must have pointed it out to me at some point, then. Probably in some disciplinary lesson. I personally try to avoid reading that pathetic excuse for a paper." Draco started walking past the Baudelaire while he spoke, stopping just a few feet away from her. He crossed his arms, staring out onto the waters.

"I'm not, actually" Violet retorted back, and it was true, she wasn't trying to be like Harry at all, she was just trying to be herself and get through the rest of the school year. The only time she had even tried to act like Harry, per say, was during the war, and pretty much everyone on the good side was doing the same "It's Baudelaire, actually. Violet Baudelaire"

"I'll believe that when there's proof." Draco was trying, he honestly was trying to be a better person. His pride still got in the way, however. Since the war, he's always felt like he was being talked down to, even by Blaise on occasion. He hated the feeling, and has been in a defensive mode since then. "Baudelaire? I swear I've heard that somewhere before."

"Just because I'm a Ravenclaw, it doesn't make me a goody two shoes" Violet hissed, putting away her wand that she had taken out when hearing the voice. The only reason she had been out was because the coin for the DA had started growing hot and a date for a new meeting had been carved into the back of it. "I believe I can ask you the same question, Malfoy"

"Isn't everyone a goody-two-shoes nowadays? Always acting as great as they can to try to be like that Potter." Draco stated sourly. He had to admit, he was grateful to Harry. In truth, Harry did help release the Malfoy family from their forced bond to Voldemort, but ever since Draco and Harry met, Harry humiliated him day in and out. Ever since Harry won the war, everybody was practically worshipping the boy, even though he would not even have had a wand had Draco not given it back to him. "I asked the question first, ravenclaw. Who are you exactly? Can't say I've seen you before." Draco had, actually, seen her before. He just never got her name, he never really felt like it was important before. "Bow-something, right?"
