So since I recently got let down by a show yet again, here’s a disability bechdel test:

-Have a disabled character

-Who is played by a disabled actor

-They don’t get ‘fixed’ or end up taking their own life

-They have a personality and don’t exist solely for the development for another character

The only examples I can think of rn are The Society, Breaking Bad, and Sex Education. None of them are main characters. I can’t think of a single film.

One in ten people on this earth are disabled.

Do you see the problem here?
