Indivisible: Dhar Reincarnated
--------------------------------------------------------------
←Prologue
--------------------------------------------------------------
Word Count: 5.1k words
“So Zebei? How long have you been a protector for?”
“Uh.. About a decade or so.. It was tough, however, pushing through any hardship is the spirit of a warrior,” Zebei choked up. He looked away to hide his sweat, there was a lot dripping around his body. He was giving Dhar a tour of the town but hanging around with him was very awkward to handle.
The fact that his comrade lost his memories once he reincarnated was something. Though hey! Look at him! His eyes were glimmering in need to hear more stories about the archer. Zebei held a fist close to his mouth, coughing a little,
”You wish to know more about me huh?” Well getting his ego up should comfort him.
“I was from a nomadic tribe. We went through harsh plains in need to gather resources but also help many people as much as possible so anyone can survive for years until...“
He looked down, stopping his tracks. Dhar stared at him, no shift in expression. “...Until a tyrant named Lord Ravannavar attacked us,” Zebei’s voice was low and quiet as if he didn’t want anyone to hear the conversation.
“Ravannavan–... Ravanana–... Ravavanan–Huh?”
“Ravannar.” He corrected, his voice now more quietly. Dhar’s eyebrows furrowed, struggling to follow what he said. The archer sighed and grabbed his arm, dragging him quickly to the monastery.
Inside the monastery, monks greeted the men but mostly to Zebei once they walked inside. As for the silver-haired, he was fascinated with his surroundings. What he saw were gold Buddhist statues, blue pillars and mats laid out for the monks to do their practices. Soon he was taken to the balcony. He first saw an expanded view of a pink sea called “the Ocean of Milk” , not noticing a young girl with a large bird who was in awe– wait… the water is pink?!? Who cares though, he shouldn’t be questioning this.
“Dhar? Is that you...?”
His head shifted to face the girl, seeing Kushi,”Eh? Do you also know me?” He asked.
Kushi looked at Zebei, questioning him of what happened. He motioned her to come close, so she walked up to him. The archer quietly explained about the price of Dhar’s reincarnation. The young girl was left with a jaw drop until Altun closed it with his wing.
“... So what do we do?” Kushi asked as her arms crossed,”We can’t have him do nothing all alone.” A small sweat fell off of Zebei’s face. He looked at her then at Dhar. The silver-haired watched the two with a blank face, slightly tilting his head.
Okay... What to do, Zebei? You have a young man that you despised for a few years but respected that he changed his sinful ways. However, that doesn’t mean you forgive him. Dhar helped a tyrant terrorizing peaceful areas in Loka, even killing innocent people who didn’t want to follow that guy. But he was a victim to Lord Ravannavar’s schemes, right?
He looked up to him as a father figure, although he was manipulated to think that ever since he was a kid. It doesn’t matter.. All it questions is how do we manage Dhar? Do I really want him to remember his horrific past? ... What if we just... don’t tell him the truth about himself?
Zebei breathed slowly then exhaled, he said,”We don’t tell him about who he was. Maybe... Make something up?”
Kushi flinched and her mouth was covered by both of her hands,
”A... Are you saying we’re going to lie to him? That’s dishonorable...! Even for a protector like you, Zebei.”
“I know, I know,” He sighed, holding the bridge of his pointy nose as continued with his words,
“...But he had a criminal history and we have to protect Dhar from not knowing about who he was. You don’t know much about him–”
“But I do know that he used to serve in the Navar Army. He doesn’t remember that now, but he will be a better person even though he will regain his memories. He’ll learn to move on to live a better life.”
“And if he remembers, what will he do nowadays?”
Kushi was left with an “um” as she tried to think, then looking back at Dhar. He was faced away to look at the Ocean of Milk, enjoying the gentle breeze, and smelling the purity in the water. It smelled either coconut-ty or flowery. Whatever it was, he felt at ease. Seeing him so peaceful gave Kushi a frown until she felt Zebei’s hand on her shoulder.
She looked at him, “Please. It’s for the best. The best for him. And the best for us. And for the people who were victims to Lord Ravannavar,” he begged with a stern look.
The young girl slowly nodded as both protectors went up to Dhar. Zebei called out his name. The other man turned with a hum.
“Sorry for making you wait but...“ Zebei gulped and cleared his throat, ”... We wanted to tell you the truth of who you are and how you died.”
“Oh. That explains the odd whispering from you two. How bad was it?”
“Dhar, you were…” Kushi stammered a little,”You were executed.”
“Yes, executed for rebelling against the Navar Army.” Zebei stated.
Dhar’s eyes darkened and a cold wind made his skin shiver,
”Rebelled? Was I a soldier there?”
“For quite a while...” Zebei cleared his throat,”You served that army in helping Lord Ravannavar, a tyrant; who would capture or recruit people with a spiritual energy called ‘iddhi’ to conquer lands but also in hopes to resurrect the goddess, Kala.”
The silver-haired listened, believing in the words of who he was supposed to be. He was told that he realized how sinful the Navar Army was when killing innocent people. So he began plotting a rebellion with the prisoners to go against the power-hungry tyrant. However, the rebellion backfired since the soldiers had the upper-hand when it came to numbers. They then took Dhar away to prison, soon being executed as punishment.
As much of a tragic tale it was, his eyes apparently glimmered with inspiration as if he was a kid listening to their hero. Especially when he learned about iddhi and how people use them to create their own abilities. For instance, Dhar had the ability to connect with Earth, manipulate rocks, and stones. Dhar hunched his back as he let out a quiet groan,
“To think I had so much power in me... Now, they’re stripped away,” he said, feeling bummed out. Zebei walked up to him, placing a hand on his shoulder,”What makes you think it’s gone?”
He smiled when asking that question.
The other man looked at him, confused,”I mean... I used to be a soldier, then died, theeeen came back with no memories. So it also means I don’t have my powers anymore, right?”
“Iddhi’s never gone, especially when you reincarnate.” Kushi stated as Dhar looked at her.
“For example, I know of someone who used to be human. They caused a lot of misdeeds but remained a soft side until he died. He soon reincarnated as a dog since only fools can reincarnate as those. We call him Lanshi! And he’s a very good fighter!”
”Then how come I’m not a dog? I’ve done misdeeds so how come I’m not a dog?” Dhar asked which gave the girl a small giggle. “I guess it’s because you were lucky enough to redeem yourself, you didn’t become an adorable canine.”
“Yes, but anyway... um...”
Both Dhar and Kushi looked at Zebei, which the archer continued to explain,”What we’re trying to say is that iddhi will always pass onto another life since the source is everywhere in people, animals, nature, and tools. The only way it can be stripped out of something is if you can absorb it until it’s life is out. So in conclusion–”
“I might get it back?!”
Zebei nodded as Dhar’s eyes turned into a galaxy in purple hue. Within the young man’s body, his heart was pumping fast. What was this feeling? It felt exciting yet more inspired. He wanted to go out around the world and learn more about who he was. That’s the feeling Dhar was getting. But he needs something if he wants to explore and get strong.
“Then... Is it okay if you two can train me?”
Lhan’s two protectors were in awe.
Alright, do not panic. I have to make sure Dhar does not remember everything, he doesn’t need to know at all. He doesn’t need to know Ajna and the adventures we had with her. Letting him go on an adventure alone would be risky. But if me and Kushi go along with him, things should be fine.
Perhaps training and helping him with battles could make Dhar a better warrior as long the truth doesn’t spurt from his brain.
The lies are going to backfire. However, the truth is the best for Dhar. Once we reunite with our allies, I hope they don’t go along with Zebei’s plan. Dhar’s future actions would probably find a way for his memories to spill. Sure he did bad things in the past but we moved on. He helped Ajna and us.
He sacrificed for us to become strong and take on greater and threatening opponents like Kala. So surely if he becomes stronger and stronger, he’ll come back.
Zebei and Kushi nodded, taking Dhar outside the monastery. Once they left, the 3 got out of town and went far into the plains for some space. It was filled with rocks in baby-blue and white streaks with some dead trees around the environment. The wind faintly whistled on the 3 individuals as Dhar’s body shuddered while the other two resisted thanks to their thick clothing of warmth. They soon stopped walking, finding the perfect spot that was flat and smooth. ” Dhar, you see that sword pierced onto the ground?” Zebei noted, pointing where the weapon was. Dhar looks, seeing the blade that was very lengthy and rectangular.
The handle was red and had some gold accents albeit rusted. The sword was even chipped and damaged, it was very worn out for a long time. The young man walked up to it, picked it up, and examined it carefully. Odd.. don’t most swords have a sharp tip like most sharp objects? That’s what asked himself.
There was even a faint scent of dry blood on the blade from slain victims and opponents he had fought from years ago. Dhar’s eyebrows curved downwards as his eyes darted at Zebei and Kushi,
”Is this even usable? It looks... Worn out.”
“That’s your sword, Dhar. Of course it’s worn out, it hasn’t been picked up for a long time,” Kushi exclaimed as she was brushing her bird-friend with a brush.
Zebei on the other hand was loading his arrows into the quiver,
”It will be fine as you can still use it. Albeit, the blade won’t deal big damages but that’s fine. Remember, this is just training. Not actual sparring.”
“Not actual sparring,” Dhar noted to himself,” Just need to learn the basics in combat, right?”
The two nodded in response as Zebei went up first, Kushi and Altun backed up to watch both men train.
First lesson in training: “Defense”
Defense(Noun) –
“The action of defending from or resisting attack.”
Zebei began shooting arrows at his target with his bow. He was going one by one slowly just to go easy on him. Shoot then a block. Shoot then a block. Repeat. However, those blocks felt off even when Zebei increased his pacing. The way Dhar was practicing his blocking against the attacks. The way he was holding his sword was loose, especially when his left palm was “touching” flat against the blade as his block stance.
His posture was shaky and not kept with his sure footing. Either it was the cold air taunting him or he really doesn’t want to die again. The archer could tell both of those things were bothering him, so he stopped shooting.
Dhar sighed, rubbing the back of his head,”S-Sorry...”
“It’s fine, there are some things I need to point out.”
The young man looked at his tutor, listening carefully,”First was the way you held your sword and the posture you made to protect yourself.”
“It was cold... Maybe I should have borrowed a jacket before we left town–”
“It’s not just the cold. It’s your fear kicking in.”
“Fear...“ Dhar noted, then gulped.
“Now it’s not bad. It’s okay to be afraid, alright? Everyone has fears, Dhar. However, when you’re in a situation of a battle. You have to keep a cool mind and think on what to do against your opponent. If you continue to hold that fear, it will stop you from doing anything. So, Dhar, what you have to do is... breathe. Breathe slowly.”
The young man blinked, but went along with Zebei’s words. If he asks something, he won’t gain anything further to become a warrior. Dhar stood still, inhaling the air. Not too quick. Not too fast. Just at a slow pace then held that breath for 1... 2... 3... 4... 5 seconds. “Exhale.” He let that out. He felt a calm aura within him, it was a nice feeling.
“Good, now continue doing that but with your eyes closed,” Zebei ordered.
Again, Dhar didn’t want to ask and so he breathed in. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. As the silver-haired mentally counted for 5 seconds, Zebei readied his bow and arrow slowly. Not a sound was made except the wind breezing by to say hi to them.
Dhar held his sword in a firm grip, sensing something that would soon come for him. The archer pulled back the arrow, aiming at his silver-haired target. Both men held their breath until the arrow was finally shot. It flies straight toward Dhar.
Dhar swiftly lifts up his sword, blocking the shot in a much better stance.
Zebei smirks, shooting a few more arrows at a fast pace. There were even some arrows that were shot in 2’s or 3’s which left Dhar’s eyes widened. He had to move the blade diagonally like a see-saw. He was able to protect himself from the barrage but the lesson wasn’t over just yet.
The archer starts to circle around him and shooted more. Arrows clashed against the sword, chipping the blade bit by bit as it also caused Dhar to stumble back. “Looks like I have to do more than blocking, right?” He thought and a sweatdrop streams across his cheek.
An exhale was let out from the young silver-haired man, he quickly swung his sword to deflect against the attacks. Some of the sharp projectiles were even launched towards Zebei. However, the archer managed to dodge by ducking down and rolled forward. He then dashes to him, takes out an arrow, and lets his arm charge for a piercing hit. Dhar’s eyes widen and grabs his wrist, kicking him in the stomach which causes Zebei to get knocked back.
“Wha...? How was I able to grab your wrist quickly?”
“Looks like instincts kicked in. That’s good,” Zebei commented as he stood up, brushing the dirt off his shoulders. Dhar smiled and then the two men began collecting the used arrows on the ground to clean up for the next lesson of training.
Second lesson in training: “Offense”
Offense(Noun) –
“The action in attacking someone or something”
“Do I have to fight the bird?” Dhar whined. He was standing in front of Kushi and Altun, who are his next sparring partners.
“As for you...“ His hand motioned to the young girl,”Kushi, you’re... Small at 5 feet to me.”
“Dhar. I understand your worries but when you go on a journey or protect an area you cherish, you’ll face numerous kinds of foes big or small. Human or not. Plus, I’m 15! I’ve grown strong as a protector of Lhan alongside Altun and Zebei,” Kushi explained.
Her words made Dhar ease down his worry as he nodded, readying his sword. Seeing this gave Kushi a smile and her bird picked her up with his talons, flapped his wings, and raised her up in the air.
A strong breeze from Altun’s wings chilled through Dhar’s arms, small bumps arise on his skin under his black sleeves.
“Suck it up, Dhar. You want to be a strong warrior, right? This is your chance! Come at me!”
The-silver haired took a deep breath, then moved his legs fast. He charged at his two opponents and soon gave himself a big leap, swinging his sword. Altun flew back, flipping backwards which caused his tamer to be tossed out of his talons. Kushi when being thrown, her posture went into a Y-like pose as she dropped kicked right into Dhar’s face. A grunt came out from his mouth as he fell onto the ground.
Kushi landed, pointing at him,“Go, Altun!” She commanded. Her big bird flapped his wings, charging fast at the recovering silver-haired. Dhar stood on one knee, holding his face with his left hand. He heard a loud caw coming from Altun. He looked to see the bird was coming at him fast with talons sharpened and ready. Dhar raised his sword.
The chipped blade clashed with Altun’s claws as the bird began scratching, trying to make contact on his opponent. Luckily, the silver-haired moved his weapon in different directions which deflected some attacks. Each clash and deflection caused some white and yellow sparks to fly out.
Dhar knows he can’t block forever or else it would tire him. So he ducked down, missed a scratch then jumped, and swung his sword upwards. His sword managed to slash the big bird as the creature yelped. Kushi yelled out Altun’s name and the bird flew off, landing on her gloved arm. Dhar charges, swinging his blade as usual but is soon blocked by Altun’s wings.
Each slashing had the feathers blinked a faint rainbow glow as if the wings were like barriers. Kushi was hiding behind the protection, she had a smirk on her face,
”Open now!”
Altun followed her command by spreading his wings wide, slapping Dhar’s sword out of his hand. “What?!?” He yelled out. He soon meets a fist to the face from the young girl which he stumbles back. Dhar shakes his head and looks around for his sword quickly. The sword was lying about 15 feet away from him. Can he make it?
So he begins running which Kushi notices, whistling. Her bird looks, leaps off her arm, then flies after Dhar. The silver-hair looks back as he curses out “Shit” under his breath. He makes a leap as well with his hand stretched out, about to grab his weapon but was swiped away in a flash.
Dhar looks up to see Altun holding the chipped sword with his talons. “Altun uh... Can you give my sword back...?” He asked, however, the bird let out a snicker as he tossed the sword even farther. Guess that’s a no. Suddenly, Dhar felt a thud from the back. He almost loses his balance but keeps his footing, turning to see Kushi about to throw some punches. His eyes widen, arms out in an “X” formation.
Kushi starts swinging her fists at him. Each contact while Dhar was blocking, they were strong despite the girl being a bit smaller than him. They hurt as the silver-haired grits his teeth, his feet slowly moving backwards so he can keep standing. But he then felt talons grab his shoulders. The claws digged in deep but not too much.
He turns his head, seeing Altun. He is really big upclose albeit threatening, especially when he is grabbing him. Kushi beamed as she hops and points to the sky,“Up in the air,Altun!”
“Wait! Excuse me?!?”
Dhar looks down to see his feet coming off the ground. Altun was taking him to the skies up high. “Kushi! This training seems more deadly!” Dhar yells out. He tries to squirm out of the bird’s grip but his shoulders dug by the claws spewed a bit of blood as he hissed. Thankfully albeit not thankfully, Altun releases his talons to drop the silver-haired as he lets out a scream.
The bird flies down to then whack Dhar with his wings. He yelps from the hit until another whack comes by, launching him upwards as he groans. He was being tossed around like a broken doll over and over. Meanwhile on the ground, Kushi watches with her hand covering the sun to see her bird juggle the silver-haired. Zebei was watching the scene as well and a sweat drop streamed across his face.
He walks up to the bird tamer,”Isn’t this a bit much?”
“It’s okay, Zebei. Trust me, I know what me and Altun are doing” She replied nonchalantly. Back with Dhar and Altun, the battle continues to be some sort of circus act. Dhar was wailing but his voice was slowly becoming quiet, turning into small grunts until there were none.
Everything around him tunes yet blacks out. He opened his eyes, all he saw was darkness with a purple aura. Where was he?
He sees something light up in the dark matter, it was like... an orb? A floating, glowing orb with a tint of purple light. This isn’t time to question or stare at it, he needs to wake up and fight back at Altun! But how? With a sigh, Dhar slowly walks up to the orb as he reaches his hand out. It jumps back.”What?” The young man mutters and tries to grab the orb for a second time but it backs away again.
A voice then plays in the darkness,”Why do you want this?” They ask ominously.
“Huh? The orb?”
“Yes.”
Dhar’s eyebrows furrowed, ignoring the question as he continued to chase the floating orb. But just as usual, no luck of succession as he groaned. The voice asks him again,
”Why do you want the orb? Why do you want to fight?”
The silver-haired stops chasing the flying object as he pants, warm breaths escaping out of his mouth. He lifts his head upwards to “look” at the strange presence talking to him,”I...“ He gulps, thinking carefully.
“I want to gain back what I lost,” He said, his tone was a bit shaky but he continued to explain,
”I want to become a strong warrior. Zebei, Kushi, and Altun are training me so I won’t end up with the same fate as my last life! And the last thing I want is to explore around the world in order to protect life and humanity!”
...
“If that is your answer then so be it. Let Earth’s geo be your guide. Use it wisely.”
The ominous voice says and the purple orb strikes into Dhar’s chest, his body allowed to absorb this strange matter as he grunted. This power felt strong, solid, and valor.
The young man slowly closed his eyes as slowly inhaled the air within the darkness.
His body began glowing in a purple aura, yelling out the words,
“Earth, give me strength!”
His eyes shot open and his body shifted to see Altun. He quickly swings his sword but also summons a wall of rocks to block the beak attack from the bird. Once the bird makes contact with the rocks, it gets stuck, and Altun tries to pull back.
With no chance to pull away, Dhar pushes the geo and bird down to the ground as Kushi and Zebei watch in awe.
A loud thud is heard once the bird crashes while the young man lands with his feet softly albeit sweating. The two protectors of Lhan runs up to them, Kushi going to check on her feathered friend as Zebei went up to the rookie swordsman. Dhar looked at his sword then at the archer and the small girl,
”Zebei, Kushi… I-I got my powers back thanks to you guys..! It’s weird yet so odd... Is that good?” He then lets out a joy of laughter.
Kushi smiles as she bandages up Altun’s wounds,”Of course it’s good. You’ll be back as the true Dhar in no time!”
“It is great that your Earth powers returned, but you’re still at the lower steps of the stairs. Meaning you’re still new and have a long way to go in reaching the top.” Zebei exclaimed, patting Dhar’s shoulder,”Understand?”
The young man nodded and the gang treaded off to head back to the monastery for a break and eat dinner. Hours later, everyone was at peace with their dreams. Sounding asleep, the rooms are quiet, and the wind whooshes outside as a white noise. Things were dark, especially in Dhar’s head.
Here I am again, standing in this weird place of nothingness. Am I in my head? But what about the person talking to me? Oh speaking of them. I looked up, taking a deep breath,”Hello~? Ominous voice? Anonymous person!?” I called out, waiting for an answer. For a few seconds, there was no response from the ominous voice.
“Uh... I just want to say thank you for helping me get my powers back. However as Zebei said, I’m still at the lower steps of the stairs! So I’ll do my best to become a warrior for me, for Kushi and Zebei, and maybe for you!”
A laugh escaped from my mouth, but again... Still no response from them. With nothing left to do in the darkness, I began to walk around. Now thinking about this place, I wonder where’s that weird orb I saw earlier... That thing’s the source of giving me the power to connect with Earth, so... Is the orb the “iddhi” thing Zebei and Kushi talked about? When it went inside me, I felt a strong energy calling out to me and using its power. If so, no wonder this “Navar Army” that Zebei and Kushi mentioned wanted it... At least they’re taken care of right?
Anyways, after aiming around the darkness aimlessly I heard soothing sounds. They sounded like smooth waves from the ocean. Just like how I enjoyed the breeze and smelling the pure salty scent from the Ocean of Milk.
I begin to chase after the noise. The sounds of the ocean were getting louder and louder until I saw a light. Right there had a small, white stoney bridge, and under it was the ocean. I walked on it, following a pale trail. The sun beams hit my eyes as I grunt and lifted up my arm for some shade. While continuing to follow the trail, I saw a place filled with such vibrant buildings. The structures are white with golden or turquoise curved roofs; some had big, silky blue cloths attached to some of the buildings, especially that big white castle.
I saw 2 or three bars and in other sections of the area, there were lots of markets. The people wandering, buying, or talking to each other... They looked happy or curious until I saw a specific group at the entrance.
Oddly, I saw another me that wore black and gold armor with a red scarf around my neck. He was talking to a young girl with red beads on her head but her face was blacked out by a dark mist. Is this a memory I am getting? I went up close to the conversation they’re having as I hid behind a wooden sign.
“A̵̪̳̅͘͝ͅj̶̥̞̐̔ͅn̷͕͂å̶̡̙̤̪̇́̕,I want to thank you for allowing me to stay with you,”
What name did he call her..? It’s so fuzzy...
The girl scratched the back of her head, smiling albeit a bit awkward,
”Don't thank me, please. We're not quite at that level yet.”
“Then what should I–”
“Just keep smacking baddies with your sword,” She replied, grinning. The other me let out a small chuckle,”Can do,” He simply said.
Well, I didn’t get anything from that conversation aside from the girl. It sounds like I’m not friends with her, but she still allows me to help beat some bad people. Did I go on a journey with this girl before I got captured and executed? All of a sudden, the scenery starts crumbling and cracking into darkness. What’s happening...? A hole breaks open under me as I fall down, letting out a scream. As I fell, voices rang out to me. They called out my name and echoed.
“Dhar!?”
“Dhar! Wake up!”
They continued to ring, it felt jarring. I curled up and held my head, there was something hitting me. It felt like a beak pecking me. I need to wake up... I need to wake up...!
It was day time and Zebei, Kushi, and Altun were in Dhar’s bedroom when they heard his scream a few minutes ago. The big bird was poking the groaning young man’s head. He was squirming and mumbled out a whine. The archer breathed in and held the bridge of his nose.
“Altun, stop that. Poking or pecking him isn’t going to help...!”
Kushi lectured which Altun stopped and pulled away.
Zebei walked up to the squirming Dhar, he gently placed his hands on his body and shook him,”Dhar, come on! You’re scaring the monks outside!” Thankfully, he saw the young man’s dark grayish-purple eyes shot open. But once his body jolted up, both men’s foreheads bumped into each other HARD.
“OW!!!” The two cried out, placing their hands to their bruised areas.
“Jeez! Thanks for waking me up like that!”
“Ugh... You’re welcome,” The archer groaned then commented,”Not only do you use rocks but your head hits like one too..!”
Kushi cleared her throat while both men looked at her,”Anyway... Dhar, what happened? We heard you scream in your bedroom so we came to check on you. You were wailing in your sleep. Did you have a nightmare?” She asked.
Dhar rubbed the back of his neck, explaining to the protectors about the dream he had. The two’s reactions had them surprised and they backed away then huddled up while leaving the young man confused.
”Maybe we should tell him the truth...?” The girl insisted but Zebei shook his head. He goes up to Dhar and begins to explain,"That memory you just saw where you had that conversation with that girl, her name’s Ajna.”
“Ajna...“ Dhar muttered, taking note of the name he mentioned.
“She was a village girl that you were long time friends with. You used to be her enemy for killing her dad at her home place but later helped you form a rebellion against the Navar Army.”
Hearing the story left the rookie swordsman slightly disturbed. “Just how much damage did the Navar Army do?” He mentally asks himself.
Meanwhile, Kushi is just disappointed in Zebei for lying again. Dhar didn’t bother to notice as he looked down and thinked. “Hey... You think I’ll get all my memories back?” He asked both the protectors. They were unsure in different ways. “I’m sure you will... It might take some time once we go out,” the bird tamer reassures.
The archer responded with a shrug and then said,”I’m not so sure about that... However,” The two looked at him, listening,”The 3 of us going out and exploring around Loka isn’t that bad.”

Started working on the first page of Episode 2! Drawing Tai Krung is hard, but here’s to hoping I’ll get the page up by this Thursday, and then hopefully biweekly page releases after that!
This comic isn’t dead or cancelled! I’m just intimidated by the fact that I have to draw Tai Krung LOL

Is this the beginning of an adventure?
Do I update the comic weekly or biweekly (once every two weeks)?
Weekly would be ideal, to get the comic going and not have people waiting too long
But I’m afraid I’ll be releasing too fast and I’ll eat right through my (very small) buffer!
