Welcome to the Life Size T-REX in Paris - Art life

French artist Philippe Pasqua decided to play up on dinosaurs and make his own.

Pasqua designed and constructed a life-size Tyrannosaurus-Rex which resides over the Seine River in Paris. The T-Rex is made of 350 chrome, the bones are molded into a spectacular contemporary piece of art. The skill, tail, and teeth are all designed with intricate detail and pop-culture flair. This chrome dinosaur is a great mix of art, history and creativity. Not only does it still scare people but after the initial shock, it’s nice to look at.

Rexroth Indramat Servo Controller type HDD02.2-W040N-HD12-01-FW. This is a Rexroth Indramat from the German manufacturer, subsidiary of Bosch Rexroth Group. Rexroth Indramat digital Sercos from the Rexroth DIAX04 Controller family, basic unit type HDD02.2-W040N with configuration no. HD12-01-FW with built-in blower, power of 40A. This INDRAMAT HDD Servo controller has a fixed configuration, it is able of activating 2 servo motors. As regards the Rexroth Indramat HDD02.2-W040-HD32, the SERCOS interface guide communication module (same as plug-in module Indramat DSS02.1M) and an additional connection for an incremental measuring system with 1-Vpp sinusoidal output is integrated per axis.

The Indramat controller may only be operated without a reduction of rated data up to an ambient temperature of 45° C. Therefore it may be necessary to use a cooling system. In the event that the Rexroth Indramat HDD02.2-W040N-HD12-01-FW unit must be replaced, the drive parameters can simply be transferred to the replacement unit by inserting the software module. The drive is then immediately available again with its specified features.
