everything is the same as stuart gordon's from 1985 except there is even more trans and gay subtext (like the colors are hidden in the background or the colors are used for lighting), dan and herbert make out for a very long and uncomfortable amount of time after the injection scene (which is added back in), and the SA scene is cut 💚
