Academics, this is a reminder that thrifted clothes and hand me downs fit the aesthetic just as much as new, expensive ones do. You don’t have to pay for an expensive education, or buy new things to be “aesthetic.” To be a part of this aesthetic is to simply have a love for learning. Maybe you learn best with your hands, so do! Go out and feel the squish of mud, and the bite of the wind. Maybe studying traditionally is the way for you. I want you to post pictures of it, I want you to learn, and to teach. I want you to feel the love of this community just as strongly as I do.

Can we start diversifying our aesthetics? Dark academia is literally called dark academia. Appreciate poc’s ethereal skin, hair, eyes, personalities, etc. “They don’t fit my aesthetic,” isn’t an excuse unless your aesthetic is white supremacy.
