Good Omens fans! We want to share something with you...
A few weeks ago some folk came up with this idea of making a Good Omens/Shakespeare crossover, adapting Much Ado About Nothing with GO characters. That idea grew and has now become an international project involving dozens of people from around the world!

We’re almost done with the process of adapting the play, and preparing for the recording of Act 1: we’re looking to have it finished in a couple of months from now. But for that we need YOU!

This is a lot more abstract and minimalist than I tend to go, but I hope you like it! I feel like I’m a combination of Carolyn and Arthur, minus the angry feminist, plus the culinary inability
Fic idea: Both Azirphale or Crowley think their feelings are unrequited so they both reluctantly let random humans they know set them up on a blind (maybe double) date but it turns out that of course they were being set up with each other the entire time. I know this fic idea is stupid but it came to me a long time ago and won't go away.
“Come on, I think you’ll really enjoy it if you give it a try!”
“I’ve dated humans before,” Aziraphale informed the voice on the phone, “and itnever ends well. Plus, why would I trust the Antichrist to set me up with someone I’d actually like?”
“He said he’d pay for the food…”
“Oh, all right. But I hope you’ve warned this fellow that a second dateis not guaranteed.”
Aziraphale slammed down thereceiver to his telephone. He’d only answered it because Crowley was the only onewho had his number, but somehow that irksome Adam Young had acquired it. What was theAntichrist doing, setting up blind dates for angels? He’d said it was in thanksfor the whole End of the World thing, but that had been a full decade ago — for humans, that was a longtime to remember a favor in need of repaying.

Inktober day 2 Aziraphale and Crowley from GOOD OMENS
I think what most draws me to Crowley and Aziraphale is that they’re so normal. Save for the existential crisis of fiction becoming reality, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Crowley at my local Jewel’s, making a late-night wine stop, browsing the shelves and humming. Or to find Aziraphale just sitting on a bench in my local park, sipping tea and reading a book and watching the ducks. They are six millenia-old divine beings and they are just like all the rest of us, and that’s kind of comforting in an odd way.
