It is indeed a 3D render and I haven't even finished the model yet! Just you wait and see what I have planned. And I'm thrilled that you appreciate the thought that's going into this!

I based my Lockheed McDonnell 3/12 mostly on the JetStar, but a bit bigger and some significant differences. I wanted G-ERTI to look like an early, clunky design so I gave the 3/12 the kind of nose you'd see on things like the Comet, real classics of early jets.

I could go on but I probably shouldn't. Unless anyone wants to ask about, say, fuel tanks. Or the cargo bay. Or the interior.

I love pretty much every second of this episode, but my favourite little thing is the extra shot of adrenaline that kicks in on the second ‘Christmas’ in Arthur’s song, as if, in saying it, he realises afresh that it’s Christmas.
