everyone has a ship thats just: theyre perfect. they hate each other. theyre married. they havent spoken in 15 years. they have date nights three times a week. theyre divorced. theyre pining, its unrequited. its requited. theyre starcrossed. theyre meant to be. theyre doomed by the narrative. they love each other. theyve never held hands. they wont stop making out at parties. they cant look each other in the eye
Crowley who asked to go off together to alpha centauri when the world was ending, Crowley "tell me you said no" when the world was ending again, but was fine with staying there when the world truly ending? I don't buy it. He wouldn't let that happen to Aziraphale, he wouldn't let him die like that

My new aziracrow fic, written for @magnusbane-cateyes in The Nice and Accurate Atelier Fic/Art Exchange 2026, is up! Inspired by her art. It’s the cutest fic I’ve ever written, and I believe we all need this now😌 There’s The Picnic, there’s a beach, there’s love.
Rated: M Pairing: Crowley/Aziraphale Words: 6,706 Summary: After Armageddon doesn't happen, Crowley and Aziraphale are trying to find their feet in the new, overwhelming world of freedom. Everything is fine, but Crowley is experiencing strange aftereffects of the body swap.
Enjoy!!!🩵
Having a giggle over a bit I just jotted down for the GO historical fic I've got in bits and pieces ... A bit at the lunch after the Bastille, where Crowley admits to accidentally starting the American Revolution when all he was SUPPOSED to do was start some unrest the British would then make a crushing example out of.
Crowley being in France suddenly is "plausible deniability" (in his own words) 😂 Here's the unedited bit (I haven't filled in all the action/tag lines):
“Where have you been?”
“Boston. I was supposed to start a rebellion. Dump some tea in the harbor. Y’know, cause unrest. Then the Royal Army would put it down. Lots of bloodshed and grumbling, and souls Hell wanted.”
“So what are you doing here?”
“Plausible deniability,” Crowley muttered. “Those blessed colonists were more determined than I planned on. They were still fighting when I got myself out of there, before Hell got wind it got all fucked up. ‘Least if I’m here, I can claim it was to start all this, and I had nothing to do with,” he waved one hand in the direction of the Americas, “that.”
Aziraphale hid an indulgent smile behind his wine goblet. "You really are terrible at being a demon, sometimes."
"Says the angel who, up until an hour ago was locked in the Bastille, waiting to be discorporated, because he wouldn't use one teensy miracle," Crowley bantered back.
Can we tell I've just been watching Hamilton and GO back-to-back? lol
and in honour of season 3, a repost of some old art
just an old unfinished sketch that I still like
TL;DR: Thank you, tumblr and AO3 people for keeping the charm and fun of Good Omens alive despite... ~waves hands about~ everything.
It's been two months since Good Omens "season" 3 aired and I still feel sick to my stomach when I think about it.
My first experience was reading the book in the very late 90s. I thought it a charming story, but the only thing that really stuck with me over the years was the gag about all cassettes left in one's car turn into the "Best of Queen".
Just finished watching GO3.
What the fuck. Chat. What the fuck did i just watch.
Utterly heart broken
Like.
WHAT
Just saw this snippet of a Terry Pratchett interview about the reversal of the deaths in Good Omens and it floored me.
This convinces me more than anything that the ending we got is not what he would have wanted.
How I expected until the last second the sacrifice of Aziraphale and Crowley to go. You czechs are the best. This is 1000x better
Bonus : they're in love you're honor
This illustrates some, not all, of my issues with the good omens finale. And yeah, I’m still grieving 😭🤬
in my feelings today
this will leave a bitter feeling forever
I wanted Season 3 to actually be about Crowley and Aziraphale repairing their relationship and stopping the Second Coming.
Not the Book of Life. Not the universe being erased.
But this is what we got.
The worst part is that I can't even find comfort in fix-it fics where Aziraphale and Crowley decide to reboot the universe, because that doesn't feel like a solution either.
This isn't the world of the Good Omens novel, where Heaven and Hell are mostly two rival organizations that mirror each other.
In the TV series, angels and demons were never equals.
The imbalance is there from the very beginning.
Then Season 2 makes it even worse. Beelzebub says they command the same number of demons as Gabriel has angels. That doesn't sound like a small group of rebels who followed Lucifer. It sounds much more like half of Heaven was simply destined to fall from the very beginning.
A random cosmic lottery.
Half condemned to become demons.
Half condemned to suffering.
Half condemned to eternal punishment after the Second Coming.
If that's true, then preserving the status quo isn't justice. It's sadism.
And rebooting the universe would just reboot the same system—a system that was never fair in the first place and never would be.
I honestly think this is a subject the story should never have touched if it wasn't prepared to deal with it.
Because now we're left with knowledge that poisons everything.
It undermines the whole meaning of fighting for kindness, for love, for warmth, for hope in an unfair world.
We're simply expected to accept it.
And it's incredibly hard to be happy with that unless you ignore it completely—but once it's there, you can't really unsee it.
It feels like we've been left with an open wound that will never heal.
Even in fanfiction, no ending really brings comfort anymore.
What makes it even worse is the implication that if a world without suffering is impossible, then the most beautiful ending is simply... nonexistence.
Not trying to change the system.
Not making it even a little kinder.
Not standing beside those who suffer the most.
Not choosing each other.
Just ceasing to exist.
And I genuinely want to understand what was going through the minds of everyone who thought this was a satisfying direction for the story.
they're everywhere
WIP GOmens doodle for my hero @a-zira-ziraphale-fell. My iPad got damaged, now I have a better iPad. I'm going to color this. Just wanted to prove it is happening. I love you @a-zira-ziraphale-fell, you deserve everything in the world.
