I keep thinking about how positive I was, that Crowley and Aziraphale had a whole plan that they had worked out in the final 15 of season 2. I thought that I had guessed, or heard about from other people, and I expected.....well. Aziraphale to be sending him notes. For Crowley to possibly disturb things in Hell. Or go looking for things and info Aziraphale needed. I expected coded messages between them.

I definitely thought the Book of Life was in play, and I never thought it was going to be the way it actually was in S3.

When I heard Michael's actor Doon Mackichan saying that she never had to play a psychopath before, I genuinely thought it was because Michael expected to be Supreme Archangel and then wasn't.

I want to know why Metatron picked Aziraphale! Listen I think he's the best angel, but heaven doesn't feel that way. Why did Metatron come for him! Why was the Metatron wearing all black! Why didn't the Angels recognize him!

Why were we told that Aziraphale's favorite Jane Austen novel is Persuasion bc it's about a man who was rejected by his love bc her family objected, who then find each other later in life and marry anyway? (Heaven hating demons)

Why was The Crow Road specifically mentioned? A book that explored the themes of life and death and afterlife, family drama, questions of faith and the afterlife!? (Crowley going on a physical and metaphysical journey)

We...we could have had such a beautiful full season! We would have had it all!!

The writers knew the fans would bring that up if they didn't themselves, so now your point makes no sense.

Whether you see it the same or not, we did watch Aziraphale and Crowley agreeing to never exist anymore. It is valid for people to see this as suicide. Sure, you do not agree. It doesn't mean people are being negative when they share how they saw the decision and how badly it affected them.

I find it insensitive that many of you are dismissing people who saw it as suicide. You don't see it that way, but there are many who do! And some even reacted badly to it. Should they see a therapist? Yes. And many of them did. Yet you still talk about people who got affected by this like they are babies who can not handle a bad ending.

Dismissing the real trauma the Finale is causing is not the kind of behavior I expect from the GO fandom at all.

You tell us to censor our "negative talks," but you are eager to share gif of AziCrow evaporating and calling it beautiful without any tagging or warnings. If anyone ask for a cw you just say they are being a hater.

By the way, I find it disturbing that there are some of you who treated on-screen suicide as beautiful and as the only way for them to truly be free.

Would you go to a suicidal person and tell them that?

I found this message from the GO Finale to be extremely dangerous. As someone who had these thoughts before, I tell you that "If I end my life right now, maybe in the next life things will be better and I will be able to live my life how I wanted." Was exactly what went on in my head as I contemplated introducing my vehicle to a nearby truck.

I do not hope to change your mind. I am sharing my thoughts about this situation to tell you that by ignoring and dismissing people who got hurt by the Finale, you are doing more harm than good.

To me, the Finale should have had a hotline placed over the whole decisiom making and evaporating scene because there are people who were severely hurt by its suicidal message and still are.

He might have tried that for a moment—because compassion is part of who he is—but the second it became clear it wasn’t working, he would have switched modes and done whatever was necessary to fix the situation. That’s exactly the pattern we’ve seen from him throughout the story.

This doesn’t even reflect how Aziraphale actually behaves in situations of real danger. When it mattered, Aziraphale switched gears completely and pointed a gun at Adam. When it mattered, he tore the halo from his own forehead and incinerated the demons. Above all else, Aziraphale is a fighter—a warrior. He may not enjoy that part of himself, but that’s how an angel responds when the situation becomes critical: with absolute resolve. He doesn’t stand there fluttering around the person who’s destroying everything. This is one of the most out-of-character portrayals of Aziraphale in s3.

uhh, to be fair: the suggested suicides are: . fictional characters . a corporation . a celebrity who will never, ever read this. that's all. not anyone who is going to read this, not one person. the worst they got is "fuck yourself", which is rude, but not what you're accusing. it is in response to a piece of media where we, unwarned, watched a suicide/murder/genocide take place with lots of smiles. and we're now being told that it's canon, so people who are uncomfortable should suck it up and take more of it *also* without benefit of tags. i never ever heard that something being canon meant that it shouldn't be tagged before?? and i came here from tolkien, which is just full of canon major character death... anyway, i don't think that this particular piety is called for. i don't think that this behaviour is terrible. zero readers are being threatened or told to do awful things to themselves. read carefully.

We are criticising the fact that this show made beloved characters choose suicide as a way to solve their problem. So why are we encouraging the use of it?

I'm a neuroscientist and hospital worker. Making suicide an unspeakable topic is not a way to stop people from thinking about it or doing it. Talking about it helps, though. Talking about how it hurt us that our beloved characters did that is useful. Even using that same language to vent on other characters is useful. Forbidding it isn't -- that doesn't stop the thoughts. It just makes them silent and closed off from discussion. Nobody heals by being silenced. If you don't want to use that language, you don't have to; you can use whatever terms you are personally comfortable with. But calling for others' silence is out of line. If you don't want that in your inbox, you can delete it, but if you're going to reblog it, ok I'm going to reply. I agree that telling people to be violent to themselves or others is hateful. But this post specifically wasn't that. It was about fiction and corporations, imaginary acts. It's very important to distinguish that from actual harm to real people. Stay safe, and keep other real people really safe. <3
