"Twin corridor", guessing it's the Block No. 2 at the Funabori Housing estate (don't remember any others in Edogawa). Not sure of year of construction but, judging by the design, it was probably one of the last twin-corridor blocks built.

Frame-panel blocks (belonging to "Unified Frame"), using components shared with many Moscow series (II-68, etc). I don't know if these GMPSM components were produced locally or if they were exported from the Moscow Region for a few projects (regional exchange of components was rare but did occur at times). In such a case, the panels were probably shipped by railway. The panels were also shared by many other frame panel buildings in Moscow such as I-522, I-494, I-700, I-601 and, most similar to the buildings in Almaty, the I-527A 25-storey point blocks. Unified Frame was an all-union series for both residential, commercial and industrial buildings (and integrated complexes) using a prefabricated frame with panel infills.

I know this meme is very popular since way back in the days when Architeuthis was described by Steenstrup and all, as a 'scientific' explanation for the stories about Kraken, but, they are not really connected beyond conjectures hundreds of years later.
