I'm very sorry, I don't have any time or brain right now for personal illustrations just for fun. I just got a new comic book out (and had to do a lot of stuff for it) and I have to finish a novel while slowly getting cooked in a flat without air con. I'm so sorry if I still haven't answered that message or mail örks. That being said I had to do something very quick cause I found this quote concerning Roger Casement (TE wanted to write a book about him) very amusing for.... reasons: "[...] and I am only 46, able, probably, to wait for years: and very detemined to make England ashamed of itself, if I can." Lawrencians, I need your opinion cause this bit of film is bothering me since I first watched it. It is suggested that this person behind Feisal adjusting his socks is TE. And I simply don't think that this is true. First, this person is too tall - I mean, take Feisal as a reference. Second, this person is wearing his ribbons on his uniform - something TE never did (he implies that he might've lent some for the Jerusalem parade together with the rest of the uniform but thats all). He really did have strong opinions about his military decorations. So - what do you think? Is this TE or not?

Live of ORDINARY aircraftmen

A stab in the dark but: can someone recommend a book/article about the everyday life of ordinary aircraftmen in the 20s/30s? (Stuff like - how much leave did they really get etc) Perhaps in a History of the RAF book or maybe there's an article in an old TEL Society journal? Thank you!

Pool babes I Just something silly because there's enough doom and gloom. Name change!

Hi everyone! I've decided to change my username. When I started this blog Tumblr was different (you know, the good old times with all the artists and boobs) and I thought I would use it to officially promote my regular illustration stuff. Well, this blog has become something more private. And although I think nobody will actually find me here from the "outside", I'm a little bit worried cause of professional reasons. So - new name will be: inesk_art! That'll make it at least a liiiitle bit less easy to google my Tumblr stuff, I hope.

Golden Glory Soap I just read parts of The golden reign again and I had a brain fart on page 45 when Clare is teasing Tes for his use of Golden Glory soap. I looked up the soap, you can find ads from the 20s.... They are.... well. Not really marketed for "the lads" :D. Btw the "see through" part seems to be part of the marketing strategy. So - lol. He's like quoting an ad.
