Hook: OH i can help you! Lemme see! *Grabs Paper* A'ight ummm.. here's an easy one!

Peter: *shrugs*

I think it's so funny that I have two versions of Hook in my head depending of who tf he's dating/married to. Like...

Married to Jafar: More composed and relaxed, left Neverland, fixed his mental health, stopped drinking & smoking, started working out, started dressing nicer. In summary, he fixed himself from the ground up.

Dating Starkey: Fucking feral, still in Neverland, drinking and smoking addiction pursues, "mental health"---don't know her, stuck in the same raggedy ass clothes he has been in for centuries.

Jafar: "PETER! Get your ass down here!"

Peter: *From all the way upstairs* "WHAT?!"

Peter: *Groans but comes down the stairs reluctantly* *Under his breath* "You're such a bitch..."

Okay, bro, I fr need to stop coming up with AU ideas for my silly gay guys...

Anyways, hear me out on this AU concept!

It's called "Care for the Lost Boy" and it takes place years after the events of both Peter Pan and Peter Pan: Return to Neverland happened. I don't have it thoroughly thought out but the basic premises is that something happens to Neverland and, in turn, it rids Peter of his powers; flight and eternal youth.

So, out of desperation, he turns to the corporate mouse for assistance. Mickey doesn't exactly have a solution for Peter's exact situation and can't exactly just fix Neverland like that. With that in mind, the only option Mickey has for Peter (and the rest of the Lost Boys) was to be housed with others who wished to take them in.

Naturally, the Lost Boys were picked off first. Various other heroes/princesses taking them in to raise as their own or very least make them comfortable. But Peter never got picked. Him. The poster child of childhood joy and whimsy. He overheard some whispering about how his trickster unruly nature would be too much of a problem for them to handle.

But, you know who he wasn't too unruly for? Villains. And specifically Hook. The pirate, after being dormant for so long and building a lift outside of Neverland, came to assist; which stunned everyone. He took Peter in. Whether it be out of pity or for some other reason is still unknown to me but he takes him in nonetheless.

Late-Night Headcanons: Jafar Edition

Jafar can NOT hold his liquor. Like, at all. He's a SUPER lightweight and is probably tipsy after glass two. And no, it doesn't matter what he drinks. Whiskey, Gin, Wine, Champagne, doesn't matter. That man can't hold it worth a damn.

Speaking of it though, I always imagined Jafar as an affectionate drunk. He gets very cozy and comfortable with people, sitting in their laps and kissing them, that kind of thing. He clings to the closest person he can find that they have officially been declared Jafar's buddy for the evening.

Hook is part Italian. I know he's technically British by canon but idgaf. He's Italian. I know he is. I just can't prove it.

Random midnight headcanons:

I don't know why but I always headcanoned that Hook is a fantastic singer. And I don't mean in the new age vocals or Disney musical way. I mean in the old school, opera belting way.

My boy James can hit those opera high notes like it's nothing more than eating breakfast in the morning. The long notes that takes the wind out of most? That's light work to my homie. But it was funny when the others found he he COULD sing like that.

They probably thought he could only sing sea shanties. So when they asked him to play that dumb "sing the song" game where you have to guess what it is, they didn't expect him to know any classic Opera songs. Let alone nail them like it was nothing. Bro was casually tapping his fingers to the beat while everyone else is shooketh.
