I feel like this is the last foreign social network that will last a little longer before Russia finally gets cut off from the rest of the world — because this is literally the only place that works without a VPN (even though I never turn mine off these days). I didn't want to write anything about this here until the very last moment, but every day things are really getting worse and worse. In May, Russians will be charged about $2 for every 10 minutes of YouTube video in full HD. All the Russian-made alternatives to foreign messengers are complete garbage — non-functional, insecure, filled with CP, gore, and scammers, which our authorities turn a blind eye to, because apparently the only things you can't distribute are YouTube, Instagram, and Discord (which actually clean that shit up, while the morons at Russian VK just removed it from global search). Anyway, I hope Tumblr stays out of sight of those cannibalistic vultures, but I'm sure they'll turn their attention to it soon. I don't know, probably nobody here gives a shit about me anymore, but maybe in a couple of months after the Russian firewall appears, someone will wonder where that weird thing that sometimes popped up in their feed went
