Scenario Questions: How would your OCs react?
Your OC’s circumstances may result in some wildly different answers.
1. They find out that someone they trusted the most has betrayed them in an extreme way.
2. Their biggest enemy, regardless of what they’ve done, is suddenly remorseful and is claiming they’re sorry and want to change.
3. They suddenly lose their job and aren’t told why.
4. They win a large, brand new house.
5. They are approached by a shady organization that is offering a large sum of money if the character was to do something that was strongly against their morals.
6. They wake up one morning with a new, unexplainable power that doesn’t seem to match their aesthetic or lifestyle at all.
7. Their parents show up completely unannounced and say they have “something to show them.”
8. They are told that their sibling had died in an accident a few days prior… but they had just talked to their sibling on the phone the day before.
9. Their favorite flavor of ice cream is discontinued permanently.
10. They discover that they have a stalker.
11. They’re given the opportunity to make one single wish, whatever they wanted, except for more wishes of course.
12. They’re allowed to change one event from the past, no matter how significant or insignificant. The catch is that after they change it, they can’t undo what they’ve done.

"Allow me to be frank with you. If you want it purely for the aesthetics, you can easily find a pattern and buy the materials for much less than it would cost to pay someone to make it for you. Of course if you later want to convert it for proper use, the ingredients for the sealant you'll need to prevent yourself from getting the plague will cost you almost as much as just getting the mask made. It is curious to me that you find my mask cute, though.”

What were you before?
“There was no ‘before’ for me. Every moment since birth I have been preparing for my purpose.Now, if you were to ask my own town, they may say that I was a Mediumbefore becoming the Plaguebearer. But my town is not me, nor is it onmy side, now is it?”
what brings you to salem, of all places?
"The first and foremost is that the amount of people here is fewer than at my home town. It's not so much smaller that I shan't be able to assume my intended form, of course. It will simply be easier to fully consume the town with the plague. The second requires a lengthier explanation, and it is the concept of anonymity. Where I come from, my neighbors are well aware of me and my family. They believe me to be a Medium, as throughout my life I have spoken with He Who Shall Oversee the Apocalypse at night, preparing for my duty. However, they made the assumption that I was speaking to the dead. While my status as a "Medium" might be helpful at first, the claim would surely fall apart with a thorough inspection from the town's Investigator or a careless word from the true Medium. She's been suspicious of me for a long time anyway. Here in this new town, I can claim a different role that an Investigator may actually believe. Tracker seems to be favorable. Besides, I know my town's Jailor very well indeed. Even if he raised me as his own, he wouldn't hesitate to execute me if he believed that I was against the town. And even if my purpose is to cleanse the world, not to harm it, I’m sure he wouldn't see mine as a favorable duty. Of course that brings me to the downside. I haven't known these people for my whole life as I have those at home. I'm not familiar with their mannerisms and roles. Someone who seems to be the Mayor could be a Veteran, and I could get shot trying to infect them and all those who visit them. Perhaps there's a Jester here and taking a rope to their neck if they appear as Mafia could cost me my life. There could be anything here for all I know, and that is what frightens me most. But as I've said, I know how to use this fear as a tool. It will keep me alert, and help me be wary of whom I trust.The third is a bit more of a personal reason. My brother once took a trip to this town, that's how I'm aware of it. According to him, Salem has a bit of a Mafia problem, and as far as I can tell, it's still ongoing. I for one would love to see them be the ones to kick off the Great Cleansing at my hand.There are a few more, much smaller, reasons, however these are the main three. Oh, I've been rambling on and on, haven't I? I do beg your pardon."
