Wasting of food, either through eating too much food, drink or drugs, misplaced desire for food for its taste, or not giving food to the needy.
Aamani Laurance became very fragile after the man's visit to the gardens. She refused to go out into the church gardens nor look at her brother in any way other than emotionless. How could she? Her sins had touched him, perhaps he was going to turn into a devil child, all because of her.
She knew her thoughts were ridiculous but she was all too caught up in her regrets of her sins. She had prayed to God every night, hoping that she would be punished in a proper way but he never answered her. Perhaps that was her punishment for being so ignorant.
It was a Friday night and she was currently at one of her friend's house. Though, Aamani may be a loyal Christian she is also well known throughout her school, due to being one of the most powerful families in the town. She was sweet, polite and gave everyone a chance, everyone loved her as much as the rest of the town did. So she was often invited to parties, to which she would always disagree to go to but her parents and brother had pushed her to go. "To finally enjoy a night," they had said.
So here she was. At Jordan Cooper's house, the striker for the football team. She liked the guy, he was always nice to her and very chivalrous, he would treat her as if she was some princess at times. She always told him not to, but, tonight she couldn't.
"Do you want a drink?" Jordan asked her, he was extremely close to her. She could feel his breath on her neck as she stood in the kitchen, watching as her friend relentlessly flirted with her crush of the week.
"No, thank you," she said with a sad smile. With being a Christian, you were allowed to drink but not overindulge, you need not more than what you have. She jumped when she felt a cool hand grab hers and turned to Jordan to see him smiling lightly at her.
"Then dance with me at least?" He offered her and much to his relief she had agreed to. For an hour they danced together, whether it was harmless grinding or a slow song or anything else. She had also accepted one drink but it was enough to leave her wanting more. She tried to keep hold of her wits but the more she had, the more she wanted.
She was overindulging. She'd hand more than enough but everyone was so shocked that they didn't dare stop her. Good little Christian, Jordan had muttered as he gave her another drink and then another. Never was her glass empty until the point where she couldn't even stand.
Aamani licked her lips, tasting the strawberry vodka on her plump lips before she turned to Jordan, a grin on her face as she flopped against him. She grabbed his hands, placing them on her stomach as she pressed her back against his front.
"Do you want to go upstairs?" He whispered in her ear, grinning when she nodded her head eagerly. He grabbed her hand and weaved in and out of the people, nodding in greeting to some as he passed by whilst Aamani looked on, dazed.
She snatched a drink from one of her friends, taking a large gulp before throwing the rest of it into the air whilst everyone cheered her on until she tripped. Aamani released of Jordan's hands to catch herself before she stumbled to the floor. She rested against the wall, her forehead pressed against the cool surface as she took deep breaths.
Everything was so weird, blurry and funny. She wanted to pee but didn't need to pee, she wanted to sit down but didn't feel tired. She wanted Jordan, but she didn't need him. At that she looked up, squinting against the flashing lights of the rave lights as a shadow cast over her. Jordan Cooper.
She groaned when he tried to grab at her hips and faintly pushed his hands away. "No," she grumbled and walked away from him. She walked into the kitchen, hoping it would cool her down but it was just as sweaty as the hallway so she pushed past the teenagers and threw herself out of the back door and into the garden where one of her friends stood, a lot sober than the Christian.
"Aami?" The girl gasped as she ditched her current fling for the night. She wrapped her arms around the small teen and held her tight against her as she dragged Aamani to a vacant bench. "You're completely and utterly drunk," she gasped.
Aamani looked up and saw it was Theresa "Terry" Goldberg, one of her childhood friends. The two were very different from each other but nonetheless stayed as friends. They often had frequent debates in college, arguing to the point of the professor having to tell them to stop but the minute they walked out of the room they were normal friends as if the argument never happened.
"Oh Terry, I've sinned again," the girl slurred, her head resting heavily against Terry's shoulder. "Moooom and dad are not going to be happy," she sang, falling backwards onto the bench as she stared up at the stars, revelling in the cool air.
Terry was gobsmacked. "You've sinned again? What does that even mean?" She whispered, placing a hand on her friends leg, trying to get her to focus.
Aamani rolled her head around so she could stare up at her friend as she said, "I let a man touch me and I liked it." She let out a hysterical laugh. "I didn't even know his name," she bellowed out, hiccuping as she laughed. "And now I've drank more alcohol than needed."
Terry could only stare in awe and shock as she watched her friend go from belly aching laughter to a waterfall of tears. "Have you told your mum and dad about the man?" She asked quietly, making sure no one could hear.
Aamani chuckled through her tears and shook her head. "No, but my brother knows. He witnessed the entire thing," she said flatly, her eyes glazed as she remembered the blonde man wipe his finger across her brothers head. "The man had touched me with his hands, made me..."
"Cum."
Aamani cringed but nodded. "Yeah, all over his hand and then just when I was about to reach for his..."
"Penis."
Once again Aamani cringed, not at the word but at the thought that she had nearly given her innocence away. "He touched my brother with that hand," she whispered.
Terry gasped in horror. "He did that?" She suddenly let out. "Why haven't you told anyone apart from your 5-year-old brother?" She asked and knew what the answer was when Aamani stayed silent. "You didn't want to let anyone know that you've been touched?" She guessed and sighed out when she nodded. "Aami, this could be classed as rape."
"No one can know from my family about tonight or the man," Aamani suddenly said, looking towards her friend with need in her eyes. "And, I don't think it was rape, how could it have been when I had wanted him since the beginning."
She didn't want this, she needed it.
She gave into gluttony.

You can be the most beautiful person in the world and everybody sees light and rainbows when they look at you, but if you yourself don't know it, all of that doesn't even matter. Every second that you spend on doubting your worth, every moment that you use to criticize yourself; is a second of your life wasted, is a moment of your life thrown away. It's not like you have forever, so don't waste any of your seconds, don't throw even one of your moments away.
