Current mystery I have been trying to avoid looking into : when did Player get a physical form and stop existing only in Nikki's mind

Did I read that and forget or did I never read it

Back in Shining Nikki, during the first anniversary (for CN/TW), the Angel/Demon event, at the end of Vol. 1, it ends with the Goddess of Desire saying, "Oh. It's you." But the narrator makes it clear that she's not talking to Nikki, and GoD continues that she could tell it was your presence she felt, and that she should have known. Then, after she leaves, we see a glimpse of (I think) the Ark and how it suddenly detected a high energy fluctuation.

Vol. 2 then opens up with you waking up on the Ark and Nikki recognizes you.

I love hearing Nikki talk about her family.

Like just casually open the game and shes telling you how she used to travel with her dad, she brings up her sister when walking through the streets, in her reflections she recalls times spent at home - both good and bad

It makes her feel more real and sacrifice she made in choosing to stay in Miraland so much bigger. She had a life, a family who loves her, a home to go back to

And yet shes here watching people be twisted into sand monsters and experiencing the horrors

Yeah I think someone pointed out Zoey and Rien are just from their first appearance in story chapters. It threw me off since everyone else is a reflection

why Caprico is a cool and interesting character

this post is…. don't take it too seriously. I really don't know.

First of all he's one of the envoys which automatically makes him cool (or sexy, if you will). There are maybe six characters who have met the ACTUAL God of Styling and Beauty (not [player] like the god who sacrificed themself to save civilization because they loved it sm.) This puts him on the same playing field as Leonid, the guy who created a false prophecy to see if it would bring S&B back. Insane levels of characters basically.

Second! His character arc is super interesting: loved machines and making things so much he was invited to THE technology island as a lead scientist. He was passionate, easily impressed by the shiny high tech, imagine it - shining sparkling eyes as he gazes in wonder at a literal paradise (in his eyes). While he's here he invents new tech that even impresses the technology people. But then! A tragedy! He tests one of his new inventions on himself, illegal not allowed. They exile our poor Capri from his paradise forever. He changes his name to Caprico, becoming more withdrawn and secluded. People will only let him down, they can't see the cool inventions he makes as cool inventions and only see the violation of the rules (everyone knows that cool people break rules.) He joins the Justiciars and Zoey becomes cooler by associating with him.

THIRD, we need to talk about Phyllis. BEcuase wdym he sheltered a poor girl and gave her new legs just becasue she was outside his door looking like a poor wet dog. And then realizing that it was his inventions that made her lose those legs in the first place?? AND THEN SAVING HER FROM A GANG??? "Oh she was just annoying me" "I only gave her legs because she was a better test subject." uh huh, sure bestie i see what you're doing you cannot hide.

Still doubting me? He listens to Dodora's songs while he works. You can't tell me that isn't the most gap moe cutest thing. (lets just ignore the everything surrounding Dodora I'm still sad about it ｡°(°¯᷄◠¯᷅°)°｡

Caprico comes off as a cold and uncaring guy but as his core he still just a man who thinks technology is cool and wants to show it off like a kid who got a new toy. He's the envoy of sexy styles, the sluttiest man in Miraland, and yet he can't help but reach out his hand when he sees he can help someone.

I think he's also jaded from everything that's happened to him pre-Shining Nikki. At the beginning of the game, he's gruff and rugged and completely standoffish. But now, going into Vol. 4, he's still aloof but more open to talking with others (like the Alchemy story and the event where Nikki helps him create a world for the androids).

Yeah know the fact Nikki willingly wearing deer legs casually is pretty hardcore

like here’s Caprico with his barely mechanical outfits and here’s Nikki who literally replaced her lower body to flex on you

I think doing that in Shining Nikki would be a bit different than it is in Infinity Nikki.

To start Caprico did self-amputation to get his mechanical limbs, while iNikki just used magic.
