The crown had appeared over night in her apartment. It was an ornate thing, clearly carefully designed to scream wealth. It did not have any jewels and was instead just gold, all the adornments coming from the way the crown was forged. That morning she had found it on her table on top of a stack of letters.  And the crown, a thing more expensive than she ever hoped to own, felt familiar. It’s presence echoed in her dream. It’s twin, atop a head of dark hair, echoed too. 

 She wore it now, her head held high. A sense of power, a sense of belonging pulsed through her as she “I think I’m really doing this crown justice.” Wearing it simply felt right. “I might never take it off.”

“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this.” Alexander groaned as he felt his feet crunch with the glass and all of the abandoned building. He didn’t know why he was talked into coming out here, because he was a cop and something felt illegal but he was also off duty and something intrigued him about the story. “So, it’s haunted, huh?” He mused, looking around. “I’m not convinced.”

“I can’t tell you that I do.” Cassidy admitted. Hell, he didn’t really know many people, he liked to stick to himself. “…Weird…” Link had been sitting for so long in the same spot, staring at the item he had found in his moving crate that very morning, he hadn’t noticed the figure approach him until quite some time after they had appeared in the first place. Clearing his throat, he finally decided to drift his gaze upward, prying it from the tablet in front of him as his fingers meekly glided along the surface of its grip as he tried to focus on what the other person had said. “…Sorry.
