do you see the same that I do?
INTP: I’m great today! I feel positive. I feel creative. I feel motivated!
INTP *2 hours later*: Ah… it was the coffee.
“I’m sorry, but the person you’ve called does not want to interact right now. Please leave a message after the tone”
why send one big text when you can send 10 little ones in a row and be even more annoying
Confession #2
I’m very good at pretending to care about things I don’t care about, but very bad at showing I actually care about something.
INTP: FRICKING HECK SHOOT ME
ISTJ: SORRY I WON'T SHOOT YOU, IT LOOKS BAD ON A RESUME
Tips to boost self-confidence as an infp
i wrote this out of personal experience, so this will probably be more helpful to fellow infps. however, ANY type can read this if they're struggling with this. who knows, it might help!
- have people around you that you don't feel the constant need to please and people that make you feel comfortable (dump people who you always feel judged with). shitty friends and family members destroyed my self-esteem, but good people helped me get it back. DISCLAIMER: constructive criticism =/= judgemental statements
- ignore your insecurities. for instance, if you don't feel at ease wearing swimwear, do it anyway. do everything your insecurities tell you not to. repeat, repeat, repeat. you will come to a point you don't even think about it.
- find physical and psychological traits you like about yourself, no matter how hard it is, and make sure you and other people can see them. if you like your witty sense of humour, let other people hear it. if you like your lips, keep them hydrated and put some lipgloss if that pleases you.
- stop comparing yourself to others and start looking at yourself. if you don't like something about you, you need to ask yourself 'can i change / improve it?'. if so, work hard to reach your goal. if not, learn to accept it, by ignoring it or focusing in other features (tip 2 and 3)
- the feeling of not being capable of doing something must be questioned. you must try to understand if you're really over your head, or if it is some petty little voice inside you reflecting your low self-esteem. if it's the second case, you know the drill: do it anyway.
- take pride on what you accomplish. celebrate your victories (pamper yourself) . think and be happy about the compliments you get. like it or not, it is a fact that EVERYBODY needs outward recognition and it is one of the best ways to make someone's day.
The first tip is probably the most important, yet the hardest to accomplish. Work hard on yourselves people and have a great day ;)
I think it is kinda sad that you can be honest and open to everone but still most of them interpret it wrong. Like I am just saying things exactly theoretically and objectivly like they are and some people still do not get it.

apparently i have a natural talent at making intxs uncomfortable
Same but I make xxxxs uncomfortable
same but also xxxxs make me uncomfortable
How to get back to being a healthy INFP
1. Spend several days alone with minimal contact with people
2. Listen to music that first matches your mood then gets progressively more positive or energetic.
3. Exercise. Preferably walking because appreciating nature helps.
4. Do something spontaneous with just yourself. Example: walk to the nearest library, music store, movie theater, used bookstore and spend time there.
5. Think about other peoples patterns. Slowly involve yourself with people again.
6. Plan something fun. As a P it can be stressful sometimes to leave all the planning to the Js.
7. Pick up a new hobby or do an old hobby you forgot about.
8. Dress up and look good while with friends.
9. Read or listen to something that makes you more self-aware aka, have a good cry.
10. Find the joy in each day.

I’m really boring if I’m not comfortable with you
Facts about me that may or not be related to type (infp)
I saw here on Tumblr an INTJ do this and I thought this was great because there's no generalization and therefore no stereotypes. I don't remember the blog, but feel free to identify it.
- I like to stand out from everybody else. Although this might make me look like an attention whore, it is the truth. I usually try to achieve this through my clothing style or through my behaviour.
- Speaking of my behaviour, I'm very honest at almost all times, and this might seem weird/innapropriate in some situations (here's the being different thing). The only times I'm not honest is when it might be offensive, but even then I try my best to say the thing with minimal or zero offensive effect, or if it is absolutely necessary to lie for someone's sake.
- I despise conflict, as in emotional arguments, especially with my family. They drain me and I usually just run away from it. I can't express my arguments in an orderly way and I end up not saying what I wanted, frustrating me immensely.
- However, I love theoretical debates (as long as people can put emotions aside when it is a debate about morality, for example). It has to be with the right people, because I can't stand when people enter a debate without the mental disposition to listen to the other parties.
- I usually have a pretty good idea of what I'm feeling and why I'm feeling it. In fact, I sometimes feel like I'm overly aware of the reasons of my feelings and behaviour, which leads me to feel like I can't act spontaneously.
- To compensate this, I do the most random things. I sing very loudly in the street, I hug for no reason, I dance in the supermarket.
- I'm known by my friends for always being in a good mood. I'm cheerful and a positive realist (???) if that's a thing. A common phrase said about me is 'If she's like this sober, I'd like to see her drunk'.
- I am trustworthy and I take pride in this. My friends trust me to confide in, because they know I would never break their trust.
- One of my favourite things to do is to analyze people, especially the ones close to me.
- Among the things I value most in people is intelligence (in all its forms), kindness and emotional density. This is also why I prefer books with good character development.
- I love people in general for ther complexity. However, I'm no social butterfly. I'm socially awkward and this shows when I'm meeting new people or reencountering people I haven't seen for a long time. Seriously, it's cringeworthy.
- I get tired or bored of things easily. I need newness frequently. Change is bittersweet: it can make me anxious, but I long for it. I'm not much of a commitment person.
- I enjoy art, especially really metaphorical art or just plain beautiful things. I, myself, like to write, but I enjoy all forms of art. I only write when I have inspiration, I never force it.
- I'm a huge procrastinator. I did good in school, but I always left things for the last minute.
- Another thing I like to do is to daydream, especially before going to sleep. As to my night dreams, they're so fucked up.
- I am confident. I learned self love. I'm aware of my qualities and my flaws and I own them.
And that's it. My askbox is always open.
