MBTI types and their reaction to a wheel coming off their school bus
INTJ: After being initially shocked, became quickly annoyed by the inconvenience, but still followed the others off the bus for their own safety. It’s a shame they can’t work on their projects at the side of the road…
INTP: Thought that the bus had just skidded due to bad weather, until they saw the wheel fly off into the distance in front of them, and decided that that probably wasn’t supposed to happen. Oh well - at least they still have their headphones.
ENTJ: After several expletives upon seeing the state of the bus, begrudgingly got off and pulled out an umbrella, before Googling taxi companies to see which one was closest to them. No point in standing out in the cold any longer than necessary.
ENTP: Immediately took a photo of the incident and began to turn it into a meme, before running around the roadside in a futile attempt to keep warm. They did have an umbrella, but they left it on the bus and forgot about it in the chaos.
INFJ: Calls the appropriate road accident service in the hope that they’ll be able to tow the bus away, before going down the roadside in an attempt to ensure that none of the cars coming along the motorway collide with the bus.
INFP: Was so lost in the book they were reading that they didn’t realise anything was wrong, until INFJ grabbed them and told them to get off the bus. They would still be reading if it wasn’t for the rain, and ENTJ won’t let them stand under the umbrella.
ENFJ: Immediately goes to make sure that the younger kids on the bus are OK, before calling their friends and family to ask for a lift. If enough people turn up, there won’t be a need to wait for a replacement bus.
ENFP: Is currently going off on some confusing tangent about the bus and health and safety legislation, which started as a semicoherent rant about planned obsolescence and ended in God knows what. Hopefully, the cold will keep them quiet - but that doesn’t seem too likely.
ISTJ: Was one of the first to notice the problem and the first to get off the bus, knowing full well the dangers of staying on board. They’re probably looking out for their siblings on the bus and the person they have a crush on, although if anyone asks them, they won’t say a word about it.
ISFJ: Is currently standing with friends and staring at the bus, trying and failing miserably to joke about the situation. They’ve already called the school and said what’s happened - all there is to do now is wait for the replacement bus.
ESTJ: Their initial reaction was probably just “Well, shit”, before they came to their senses and ordered everyone off the bus. They’re currently calling a bus company that has nearby headquarters, in the hope that a replacement bus will arrive soon and get everyone to school as quickly as possible.
ESFJ: Went to check if the person on board with an anxiety disorder was OK, before going to their friends and chatting about the incident. They don’t really care about missing school, although they don’t want the humiliation of walking in halfway through a lesson either.
ISTP: Is currently beginning a walk back in the opposite direction from school, in the hope that they can get home. Sure, it’s nearly 20 miles to their house, but they can always steal a cow and ride it, right?
ISFP: Is desperately calling their family in an attempt to get out of school, only to find that their parents are taking forever to buy a salad at the supermarket. They’ve decided to give up on that front, and have instead started to sketch the scene before them.
ESTP: Is taking a selfie with the bus in the background, ready to post it all over Snapchat and Instagram. They’ve also tuned in to the local radio station to see if they’ve made it onto the traffic report.
ESFP: Was standing with their friends and staring at the bus in shock, until they realised that they probably needed to tell someone at school what was going on. They’ve also taken a picture of the bus, just for the laughs.
