Ingenio academy is an under-construction romance game with magic, humor, and then later on some horror elements. You play as a student trying to survive as a latecomer in a super-elite school for the extremely talented and resolving problems that your teacher assigns you (and he grades you for them! The nerve!). Not to mention you’re trying to find the love of your life among one of your fellow students.
Ingenio academy is also set in a world where magic and magical realms are known and a part of normal life. There is the human realm, the elven realm, and the demon realm.
Only Masters are allowed to travel between realms.
Ingenio academy is meant for a mature audience (18+!) due to sexual themes, language, violence, transphobia, and more. (This list will be updated)

You are talented, your magic is strong and you've spent years training your craft. You are extremely talented and it was time for you to join the big league, prove yourself, and be accepted into Ingenio academy, like both of your parents before you. The academy would give you opportunities that you wouldn't find anywhere else, to master your magic and travel between magical realms! And like most students, find love! (Studies have shown that 97.8% of all couples formed in the academy stay together for LIFE!)
You applied and got accepted into the preliminary tests to prove your worth.
But that's when it went wrong.
One mistake, one stupid mistake that wasn't even your fault (or was it?) botched your chances, and you were politely escorted out of the school grounds. The staff thanked you for your interest in the academy before the gates were closed in your face.
You only get one chance to join the academy. You would never become an Ingenio. Your dreams? crushed.
Or so you thought.
You received a letter six weeks into the school semester from mister Haytham, a professor at Ingenio academy who took note of your application. He wanted to give you a second chance to join the academy in the middle of the semester, but of course, there was a catch.
You'd join a semi-secret class under him called the chaos class, along with two other students, and you would deal with problems that would arise in the school with your classmates. Problems that the teachers can’t deal with.
Would you accept?

This is my very first IF novel and it’s still in it’s extremely early stages. This IF is pure self indulgence on my part, I am not making this to please everyone, but I would still love to hear your thoughts and ideas! Updates will be slow as I am working full time and teaching myself twine. I aim to have a monthly writing update once the demo is out.
I wanted to play this if and was so excited while reading the description and then seeing its genderlocked to non binary
absolutely no hate, i would feel the absolute same if it was genderlocked to male
I guess i just cant like read or play anything thats not having the option to be female yknow? doesn't make me feel in tune with the character or mc

If I have the option to be nonbinary I always choose that option, if I don't have the option then I simply don't play the IF story, so I understand completely what you mean because I feel the same way.

I'm sad to say that I finally started to pick up my story again and cant find the newest portion I wrote a year ago, but honestly, that's probably fine. I have been following a lot of new advice on how to write stories and I need to rearrange how I've been writing my story drafts.
Turns out writing stories doesn't give you instant gratification! (crazy, I know)
