Valerie frowned, the softest sigh escaping her lips at the mention of the KIDNAPPING. It was something she’d been thinking about a lot lately: terrified children being taken because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, because of their m a g i c. It wasn’t something to make fun of. “You mean, you don’t want it to be a crazy Snap Chat pic with a ridiculous filter?” she tried to make it sound like a joke. “Can we please not talk about it?”
