laurie: Clouds and ice on Mars, photographed by Mars Express, 1st May 2008.
Image spans 600 km, 80°N 205°E to 70°N 212°E, from the south of the Olympus Undae toward the Scandia Colles.
In planetary geology, undae describes a dune sea, and colles a range of small hills.
Composite of 3 visible light images for colour, and one monochrome for detail. Colour balance is not naturalistic. Also, some colour artifacts are visible here - greenish edges to dark features, for instance; the images used for these composites are map-projected and, in this case, the projection seems to be slightly whacked out, creating misalignments between some parts of the images.

“The laser beam that comes out of my mouth is reflected in the mirrors on my body, producing geometric forms. The intensity of the ambient lighting slowly oscillates between clarity and darkness. In the apex of clarity the public sees only my body and in darkness, only the geometric forms.”
