Some days it just kind of hits you that you don’t have a mom. You look around and see everyone talking, hugging, laughing with theirs and you’re just standing there. I didn’t spend my first heartbreak in my moms arms crying. Or take hours on photos for prom, or happy tears on my graduation day. I won’t see her in the front row of my wedding day or see her hold my child with tears in her eyes. I look around some days and see people disrespect their mothers and completely take them for granted and it just kills me inside. I would trade anything in my world to have a few moments with my mom, yet you can’t even spare five minute of our day to sit down and have a conversation with yours. Love her, respect her, and never forget all that she does for you. Because one day she will no longer be there and that will be one of the hardest days of your life and you don’t even realize it.
