It's interesting because they charged her with Disorderly Conduct which you actually cannot be charged with 24 hours after the occurrence of the incidence. Otherwise every Tom Dick and Harry who gets into a screaming match in your local parking lot would clog up the system. She was charged by a summons (which you...can't actually do according to case law) for the Disorderly Conduct around 90 days after, which again according to case law even in Minnesota isn't legal. In spring 2026 they dropped the Disorderly Conduct charge. But only the one pertaining to the incident. The other two she was refiled under charges for pertaining to yelling at a police officer who came to her home. But again they did it again well after the 24 hour period. Even a consultant for the case from DOJ and FBI said it was not at all legal and a waste of money and time.

TLDR: She'll get convicted ceremoniously of the 2 charges and be released. The charges will then upon appeal to the MI Court of Appeals be wiped from her record. It's all cancel culture bullshit run amuck to calm last summer and this summer to appease the idiots.

As for SCOTUS they more or less have in past decisions said that vocal hate crimes are covered by protected speech and cannot be prosecuted.

Unfortunately the cliche of "Lawfare" is alive and well in a lot of democrat held states. Here in FL recently a woman who lived here was hit with a summons for something similar she said while on vacation in California in some small coastal town. Back and forth for a year their local courts were sending her stuff. Summons, FTA etc etc. She eventually consulted a lawyer who said "ignore it. Florida will never let you be arrested for this." She got scared and even called up the local District Attorney to make sure she wasn't gonna get arrested and they basically called up the California based prosecutors office and told them to remove the charges and they did.

Florida and Alaska real estate is the best investment you can make imo, and that’s the reason. They’re still American states.

One thing that stuck with me after reading Bowden’s Blackhawk Down was “the drone zone”. He describes the delta operators being able to carry on effectively even while very tired. It’s something I’ve always embraced. In my mind, even if you’re tired, sometimes, the only way out is through.

So my team in the edibles department is all civilians except for one guy. The wildfire smoke has us all sick. People are losing tons of sleep due to the crazy heat wave. It’s reduced our effectiveness quite a bit.

Middle of the day I decided to not say anything about it. They’re trying. They still all came in on time to work. It’s not reasonable to expect them all to perform like me. Because I am the fucked up one and they’re all normal people.
