Callie slicks her ears back, debating whether it would be better to just tell Riot she was into heavy BDSM. Better than compromising herself. One Inkling knowing might not make much of a difference, but if the wrong people got wind of it, she could put herself in a lot more danger than she was in already. On the other hand, it would look very bad for her to be doing this to party guests, especially since Arrow was very much not into this right now. He’s still whimpering in pain, but he’s ceased most of his struggles, probably so he didn’t get another leg snapped.

“…you might wanna just get out of here.” She wipes her bloodied hands on her shorts and pulls her phone from her pocket. “You’re not gonna want to get caught up in what happens next. It’s not that late, I bet you can find another party to go to.”

“Hey, listen. I wanna know what’s goin’ on here. Like.. I’m already here, I’ve seen everything. Stop stalling and spill it. I think I at least deserve to be filled in.” Riot pouts, grumbling aggressively and crossing her arms at the less than flattering sight before her.

“... Unless,” she starts again, a smirk creeping across her lips before she reaches into her pocket, pulling out her phone and pulling up the camera app. “Unless you want me to post this all over the internet~. Wouldn’t that be something? Callie, beloved idol to many, attending some kind of weird kinkparty.. who’d have thought?”

Riot seems rather proud of herself, her grin showing no sign of leaving any time soon. Leave it to her to resort to blackmail in order to get her way.

Callie has to take a hand off of Arrow’s head to grab the tape, giving him a moment to turn it and hiss, “She’s fucking crazy! She’s going to kill me! You gotta-” There’s another wet snap and he lets out a shriek as Callie squeezes one of his pincers with her tentacle.

She laughs nervously, peeling a strip of tape from the roll and binding his now-bleeding arms together as he whimpers. “I just… I can’t talk about it right now.” She bites another strip of tape free and seals it over his mouth. He had gills, he’d be fine. “I’m not even supposed to be doing this with someone else seeing me! But he would never have agreed if it was me alone. I’m really sorry about this…”

Riot continues to watch, frowning when Arrow managed to catch a moment to speak. How can she trust Callie? Or.. either of them, really. Man.. she just came to this party to have a good time, and this is what it boils down to? At least it’s been.. eventful, to say the least.

“I don’t get it. You’re not, like.. secretly a cop or something, are you?” she asks quietly, suspicion thinly coating her words. “... Or are you just into some kind of super heavy BDSM shit? Callie of the Squid Sisters.. I never would have thought you had it in you. I guess everyone has their dirty kinks, even perfect pink princesses like you.”

Her last comment is more sarcastic and teasing than anything, still managing to find a moment to poke a little fun at Callie.

“... But seriously. What the fuck??”

It was late and the weekly gathering was about to fire up. The multi-leveled parking lot starting lighting up with the headlights of the crew's modded vehicles and vibrating with the pulses of their basses. It had become a tradition to gather up as such to show off what anew additions these maniacs had made to their 4 wheeled monsters. In an other way, it was also the perfect events for discrete reunions and business talk. He was there, like every week, seeing the same repeating faces. -Tarmak

After a late night out with a couple of other folks from her regular club, Riot finally decides to call it a night. At least.. she was done hanging out with them, anyway. She doesn’t mind chilling with her fans as long as they’re cool, but.. sometimes it gets to be too much.

Besides, one of her friends mentioned that he attends some kind of gathering around here almost every week.. something like that, anyway. May as well pay him a visit while she’s in the area. It’s not an easy thing to miss, considering how much noise they’re making. Just follow the sound, aaaaand…

There they are.What a boisterous bunch. Riot isn’t much into vehicles or whatever, but other than that.. seems like her kind of crowd. The electric blue inkling approaches them, scanning the noisy group for a familiar face.

“Hey! Is this what you do out here?” she asks with a grin once she spots him, though he doesn’t seem to have noticed her yet.

The music pounds rapidly below them, nearly loud enough to drown out Riot’s exclamation. Callie whips her head around to look back at the other Inkling, hissing out a “Shhh!” which is abruptly cut off as Arrow starts thrashing around under her in an attempt to throw her off. She yelps as his needly little legs tear at the mattress and carpet and shoves her weight forward, knee against the soft spot where she’d cracked his shell, pushing him into the bed.

He shrieks in pain, cursing, calling her all manner of nasty things as she tries to grab ahold of his foreclaws with her tentacles and pin him. She’s already doing everything she can to keep his head pressed into the mattress so nobody hears him screaming, and his spiny armor is already bloodying her fingers and making it hard to keep a good grip.

“Tape!” she calls to Riot. “There’s duct tape in my purse, hand it to me, quick! I’ll explain okay I just-!”

All of this happening in one fell swoop has left Riot in a bit of a daze. She isn’t really sure what to think, and she’s starting to panic a little bit because of that. Tape? Uh.. what? She doesn’t understand, but maybe there’s more to things than she can see right now, so she just nods and complies. The DJ digs into Callie’s purse, fishing out the duct tape and holding it out to her.

“What.. the actual fuck is going on..?!” she asks, even though it’s clearly not a time for explanations, what with Callie struggling to keep Arrow pinned down, her own blood covering her hands by this point. And even if she is expected to do something to help, there isn’t a whole lot she can do. She isn’t exactly strong.

Was she playing along or was she really that eager? Either way, it’s exactly what Callie needs. “Yeah!” she pipes up, lacing her fingers. “I can help her along, show her the ropes a little… It won’t take too long. I know you’re a real busy guy…”

Arrow fiddles with the glass a bit before setting it down. “Alright, you’ve convinced me. I’ll give you a chance, and since Cuttlefish seems so eager to make herself a part of this, she can come along.” He waves a claw and turns toward the stairs.

As Callie follows him, the music swells, the track switching to something much faster and more energetic, its pulse shaking the building beneath her feet and rippling through her entire body. Just as she’d instructed. Her ink color ripples a bit in time, too, the pink tips of her tentacles faintly luminous. She keeps tossing little looks at Riot, wetting her lips with the tip of her tongue.

It looks like someone has already been in the upstairs bedroom. The sheets are disheveled and there’s ink still soaking into the mattress. Callie wrinkles her nose at the sight. “Eww… Can you at least turn the mattress over? I don’t wanna lie on that.”

Arrow scoffs. “You’re so much more vanilla than I thought you’d be, Cuttlefish, but I suppose if it’s what princess wants…” He turns away, and as he does, Callie looks over at Riot and lifts a finger to her lips in a demure little ‘shhh’ gesture, her mouth tight, holding back the grin that threatened to break out and bare all of its sharp, shiny points. It lasts only a moment before, in one swift, fluid motion, she steps forward, grabbing Arrow by the face with one hand and driving her knee into his back with a sharp, wet CRACK of chitin. His scream is muffled as she drives him forward, slamming his head into the bedframe with yet another snapping sound and the spatter of blue haemolymph against the wall.

As soon as they enter the room, it’s clear that they aren’t the first ones to have this idea. Eh, she’s been in worse situations to get what she wants before. While it is a little gross, she’ll do what she has to. Luckily for her though, Callie speaks up about the bed, making it so she doesn’t have to either way. At least that’s one bullet dodged.

Though, when he turns to shift the mattress, she notices Callie beginning to act weird. Like, weirder than she already is. Is that possible? What is she up to? Why is she...? Before Riot can properly react, Callie has already launched her attack. The instant those horribly disgusting cracking sounds ring through the room, she can feel herself begin to grow ill. What’s going on..?!

“W-Whoa, hey! What are you doing?!” she questions loudly, clearly not knowing anything about the other inkling’s intentions or involvement with the agents. This is anything but what she expected. Is Callie trying to sabotage her? “Why are you attacking him? How am I supposed to get my promo now?!”

Riot’s dislike is transparent, but Callie’s heard worse, and it’s not going to get in the way of things tonight. She hangs back for the moment, keeping an ear out as the listens to their conversation. If Riot appeals to this guy, it might just make her job a little easier.

Meanwhile, Arrow gathers the shots in his multiple sets of claws. It’s difficult to tell how interested he is, his crustacean facial features keeping him looking blank to those not of his phylum. He offers one of the glasses to Riot. “Right… But the next big thing can show up any time and knock you right off your little throne. That’s why you need people to help keep you fresh, keep people interested… That’s where I come in. Unfortunately I do have somewhere to be tonight so I’m not sure when we’ll get to meet again…”

On cue, Callie steps back up, fiddling with the clubs of one of her long tentacles. “Maybe I can help you guys out? Seeing as I’ve done all this before…” She gives Riot an obvious look, raising her eyebrows and rather pointedly glancing back at Arrow.

“Thanks~,” she coos, taking the glass from him, glancing into the liquid. This is probably one of the strongest things here.. not that she’s against it, but.. she’d really like to talk business with this guy before going too hard on the booze. Well.. one shot shouldn’t hurt that. Without further hesitation, she takes the shot, setting the glass upside down on the table beside them.

“Yeah.. that’s what I wanna talk to you about. Please don’t go, the night’s still young~.. and I’m willing to do whatever I have to do to get your attention, Mr. Arrow~,” she smiles innocently, shifting on her feet a little. “Anything at all~.”

Arrow regards them both, his odd little crab mouthparts working for a moment before he speaks. He is awfully tall, but spindly, pointy. “…oh, yes. I’ve heard of you,” he replies after a moment. “And I thought there wouldn’t be anybody interesting at this party… You want a drink? Let’s get a drink.”

His many legs tip and tap over the floor as he moves to the refreshments table. Callie trails him, looking back at Riot as he pours a series of shots. She wasn’t the best at reading crustacean facial expressions, but he seems… receptive. She sips from her soda and hangs back as he addresses Riot. “So. Riot, right? Something like that. Tell me about yourself.”

Of course he’s heard of her, why was she even concerned about that? Word spreads fast and far in Inkopolis, especially in regards to what’s hot and trendy in the nightlife scene. “Well yeah, neither did I. But yeah, a drink sounds good to me~,” the dj replies, smirking up at him coyly. If there’s anyone that knows how to play others to her advantage, it’s Riot.

She follows Arrow along, mostly brushing off Callie’s existence for now. Why is she following them? Wasn’t she just going to introduce them or something? Ugh.. she can go away now.

“Yeah, uh.. I’m still pretty new to the scene, but I must be doing something right- everyone seems to love whatever I spit out,” she states, her ego swiftly rushing back to her even through the feigned modesty. “I live over in Flounder Heights, and I got my start at the Deep Sea Trench nearby. Didn’t take long for people to recognize proper talent, and.. here I am today, brushing shoulders with people like you and..” Riot pauses, glancing back over to see if Callie is still hovering. Yep. “.. and the.. wonderful Squid Sisters.”

Ugh. She can’t believe she just said that.

“Awesome! I can be your wingsquid. Talk you up. Ooh, or maybe we can help each other! It doesn’t have to be genuine, it just has to work.” She gives Riot a grin that’s just a little bit predatory, a moment before the door opens again and admits a tall, lanky crustacean. He’s a dark gold in color, wearing a navy waistcoat. Callie practically squeals when she sees him. “Arrow! Hey! I was wondering when you’d show up! Look who’s here!”

Arrow peers down at them, his bulbous red eyes not belaying much in the way of emotion. Callie excitedly grabs Riot’s shoulders. “C’mon, introduce yourself!”
