One thing I noticed is that if you look at the height of the kiddos and the height of the humans, mobians are suspiciously human-hand height, this is strategic you see, for better head pats

Little Planet, a rock band, has become quite the cultural icon. Sonic the Hedgehog is the face of the band, joined by his very best friends, Miles 'Tails' Prower, Amy Rose, and Knuckles the Echidna.
During a tour, the band's sound operator suddenly quits. Luckily, Night Babylon's sound operator, Shadow, easily picked up the slack, earning the attention of Sonic. When asked to start working for Little Planet, as they still needed to finish their tour, Shadow agreed, joining them as their sound operator, and, soon, friend.
But what happens when Knuckles asks to resign as the bassist, asking Shadow to fill in the role? Did he sense the underlying tension between Sonic and Shadow, or was he simply homesick?
Through controversy, friendship, crime, and romance, these artists withstand anything thrown at them. Be it a legally questionable corporation, harassment from other artists, exes, organized crime, family drama, or even a cult, they always come out stronger, together.

Rewatched the pub scene from sonic 1 last night and it’s really funny how eager to fight people movie Sonic is. Lil 3ft 13 year old WANTS to throw hands bc it looks fun and exciting.
A tree nymph? That needs human blood to survive??? It's more likely than you think!

The premise for this idea is that Simon ends up in Grace's biodome, but specifically as the mutated tree (because magic) and he needs to consume human blood in order to transform back into a human. Cue the associated angst of needing human blood for survival.
Also the whole "when the last son of Eden joins the grove"
Congrats Simon you are now become the last tree of Eden, but this time you're not trapped in a blood ocean. yaysies
I might actually write a fic surrounding this - or continue drawing the comic, I'm not quite sure yet. But this seemed like a fun premise to play with.
most noticably, his repetitive circling motion with his thumb over his empty knife holster (which he often touches for reassurance in a kind of muscle-memory reaching for a weapon that isn't there)
then his light tracing of the map, brushing his fingers over it to situate himself, and just the delicate way he handles everything in general, like he's trying hard not to damage anything (he's very physical/visual, he also uses his hands when gesturing directions)
when he finds the Eden pendant he ties it around his wrist to keep it secure, but he also holds it enclosed in his palm. he keeps it tight in his fist under his thumb. part reverence part anchor to home
and when he's stressed he makes fists and fidgets with his hands / the pendant. he also bows his head to it in his hand like he's praying or hoping it'll bring him luck like a talisman
Currently on a movie marathon of the Sonic movies (again lol) and I'm just SOBBING over the overwhelming wholesomeness of the last scene in the second movie 😭😭💙💛❤️🍩🥨
They teach Knuckles baseball
Tom coaches his boys on their form
Tails teases Knuckles and Knuckles does his best to tease him back
Sonic is playing baseball in the same field where he had a breakdown a year ago because he thought he was gonna be alone forever. Now he's playing with his parents and two brothers
They only actually play one small round of baseball because Knuckles punches their only ball through the sign and outside of the fence lol
Knuckles cartwheels around the bases gleefully exclaiming how he has conquered them all
Tom and Maddie just shrug it off and suggest they go out for ice cream
The boys geek out over that and explain what ice cream is to Knucks. He asks hopefully if it has grapes
Tom and Maddie talk to each other about how proud and happy they are of and for him because he's finally got his squad
Knuckles picks up Tails and puts him on his shoulder and carries him to the truck
Tom gets down on eye level with Sonic and tells him personally how happy he is that Sonic has his "wingmen"
Sonic knows they're much more than that. He says he has a lot more than that
SONIC CALLS TOM DAD
Tom gets emotional
They race to the truck, Tom says the very dad thing of "I want your best"
Knuckles excitedly tells Sonic that he has just been informed the ice cream has SPRINKLES
"ice cream and sprinkles? This is your new destiny."
and they ride off bickering over who actually won the game, ENJOYING THEIR FAMILY BONDING SO MUCH THAT THEY NEARLY FORGET THE MOST POWERFUL ITEM IN THE UNIVERSE IN A COOLER IN THE PARK
