Writing more, lately. I think that I have said "I am in the last stretch of Sund's Rending" for several months now, but that feels more tangible. At some point it will be released and I will be free.

I stood at the edge of the water. At the lake. At the reservoir. It had been flooded during the third wave of colonists, sweeping away the evidence of the first. They remained there. No one had moved their graves. Their homes still stood. Was colonization the term for it, when no one had been here prior? Did we colonize ourselves? Raxas Nine Rising was not a dead world, but it was not alive, either. None of it was truly alive.
