this is specifically made for sims 3 but will work in sims 2 and 4 (you will most likely need to make slight shader adjustments in-game).
im so glad so many of you liked my first “faerie” preset! i decided i wanted to spruce the preset up a little when i switched back over to reshade. this is technically compatible with gshade as well but i am no longer using that program.
important: you’ll need to add/replace some shaders for this to look the way it’s supposed to because some of them are from gshade. i’ve included all the shaders used in this preset in the download. if you’re interested in knowing how to switch from gshade to reshade and make them compatible, this video may help. it’s for the sims 4 but it’s nearly the same steps when doing it for the sims 3.
i use this lighting mod by brntwaffles (with auroras & ip water), so your game might look slighty different than mine if you don’t have it.
toggle keys: mxao on/off (shift + 2)
this is the preset i use for my gameplay. mxao could be a little heavy on your game so turn off/on as needed! mxao also requires edge smoothing to be turned off.

I’ve been working on this with Lalou for a while now, and I’m happy to say it’s finally complete! I’ve mostly kept quiet about it here until it was finished, but, with any luck, this is just the first of many, many comics to come.
It was an interesting experience writing for a comic, trying to keep the art and the constraints of panels in mind, and also my first stab at it, but I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out. Lalou did an incredible job bringing everything to life!

I want you to know that I was in the live audience for this and not only was it very obvious that nobody told him what he was performing at (which is why he kept saying shit like "WHEN I WAS ASKED TO PERFORM AT... THIS EVENT. I KNEW I HAD TO BE PART OF IT!") but this man does not know how to work a crowd of people who are not already fans of his. It was absolutely dead silence from the crowd. At one point he yelled "WHEN I SAY DJ, YOU SAY KHALED! DJ!" and awaited a response that did not come from absolutely anyone, and then, by some desperate hope, once again yelled "DJ!" and someone yelled back "WHY DON'T YOU EAT PUSSY" and it was so quiet otherwise that it would've been impossible for him to not hear it. However uncomfortable the broadcast of this was, the live performance was a thousand times worse. If I were a famous musician and ever gotten an audience reception that bad, I would retire from the public eye completely and forever
