I can’t do this anymore...
My boyfriend had sex with me while I was blacked out. He refuses to claim any responsibility and says I shouldn’t have drunk so much. I informed him about consent but he doesn’t want to have to check if I’m too drunk to consent.
You get a strange feeling when you’re about to leave a place. Like you’ll not only miss the people you love but you’ll miss the person you are now at this time and this place, because you’ll never be this way ever again.
Azar Nafisi (via kushandwizdom)
if you want to get better, you have to find out what you’re avoiding and what you’re afraid of. and maybe what you’re disgusted by. you have to expose yourself to that voluntarily, and you have to let that change you. it’s not a pleasant process. it’s a voluntary confrontation of things that make up life’s horrors.

Sadly, I’ve been asked this question by my boyfriend. I always walk away. Better sooner, than later. I’d rather rip the band-aid off now, so maybe the inevitable will hurt a little less. Nobody ever stays. It is almost impossible to believe something good can last. This notion is the exact lack of hope that ends up pushing him away. Me working against myself because I refuse to believe. To stop and listen.
Wow- did I do this to myself again?
Am I dating someone who always makes me feel wrong? Inferior to them? When I know I'm not. Who pushes their perspectives onto me instead of letting me have my own?
Am I a fool?
I don't want to be the person who breaks their promises... but I don't know I can keep it up...
