I love I love I love this moment because building the suit with Yinsen was only a small portion of Tony Stark’s transformation into Iron Man. After that, the man was the mask. It wasn’t until Yinsen pointed this out that Tony began to realize he had more to live for than just to survive; he hadn’t really lived yet, he needed to secure his life and his legacy and find more than self-indulgence to participate in. This was the moment Tony started thinking of a greater good, I guarantee it. That smirk, he knows Yinsen is not wrong.
