It is definitely weird to find a blog page you kept from when you were in your early 20s.

I used to be so confident when I was younger. I am not even old but I’ve noticed the difference.

I used to say I knew exactly what I wanted from life. I knew who I was. 

Not sure when that changed. Something just shifted. I lost balance. It all became different. 

Doubts, insecurities, questions invaded my mind. 

Now I am scared of my own shadow. I sabotage my own happiness. I prefer to sulk in my sadness than to put an effort to be happy. 

What happened to “whatever it takes?” or “ I will never give up?”

I am just floating on. 

and worse. I fucked up the one good thing I worked so hard to get.

Today is one of those days I wish you were around. Not that you are the nicest guy I know but because I liked you for your stupid morals and geeky ways. And as I sit here, in this empty apartment, drowning my thoughts to the sound of Ray LaMontagne and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, I picture how our days would be if we had made it this far. I am just not used to not getting my way.

I used to always prefer the night time. I am not sure how I feel about it now. I am happy to say I am back on my daily drinking tea routine :) My mornings consist of black tea, green tea, and my nights of herbal teas only of course. This doesn’t mean I can go without coffee. It’s a bad addiction I can’t shake it off. 

I am in college now! How exciting.
