One Sunday in Rome
I seriously do not know how to organize my blog entries for my Euro trip. It’s too long to squeeze them into just one post. Will probably just do one for each experience. Let me start off with that one time I took myself out on a date one Sunday in Rome.
Staying four days alone in Rome made me master how to take the subway and familiarise which station should I get off to. Out of all the three countries in Europe that I have visited, I would say that Italy has the easiest access to every destination with their subway system.
I got to watch free concerts. :)
That morning, I walked from my Air BNB house and went to Colosseo but as expected, there were many tourists so I took the subway and just got off when I felt like it. I arrived in Piazza del Popolo.
Wandered around the streets and saw many artists doing what they do best.
The Spanish Steps
I decided to treat myself a well deserved Pasta! As much as I wanted to stay offline and avoid social media, I needed to connect and get in touch with someone whom I was supposed to meet that night. So, I asked the waiter if they had wifi. “No, we only have spaghetti.” He replied.
This is how Italians usually spend their afternoons.
Wouldn’t mind getting lost around Rome’s pretty small streets.
It is normal for Italians to take their pets with them when they’re out.
Another concert for free! This time, it was Mr. Jackson performing live!
I came to Italy for two things. 1. A Gelato (which I almost had everyday) 2. The perfect leather sandals. And I found one which its price we shouldn’t discuss because it breaks my heart.
Live performances everywhere!
Yes, their water in the streets are potable!
Didn’t let the day pass without paying a visit (again) to the Vatican.
Moving around Rome involves too much walking. I walked for 10 hours or more. I got tired and I also had to go home before my metro ticket expired. It was an unusual but well spent Sunday. The last day I was alone. Someone took me out of the Eternal City the next day and drove me up to Tuscany. Will talk about it on my next entry. ;) Ciao for now! Bacio. :*

less of natasha being an emotionally cold, super scary spy and more about her being a secret troll and epic dork please
that “shall we play a game?” reference, and awkwardly trying to explain her own joke
she uses emoticons to text steve about OFFICIAL SRS BUSINES ;DDD
i bet steve’s “disguise” came out of her own closet, because while natasha wears super sleek leather stuff to maintain her ””image””, left to her own devices she totally rocks the middle school emo look. complete with plastic lens-less hipster glasses because SHE LIKES THE WAY SHE LOOKS WITH GLASSES OKAY IT’S NOT A CRIME
she’s probably told the smithsonian/fossil joke so many times. every time she picks steve up. she thinks she’s hiLARIOUS, and steve’s like, omg you’re such a white suburban dad get away from me
(clint’s like, i’m hungry
hi hungry, i’m natasha, natasha says, and throws a pretzel into his mouth)
Isn't this just south of Myrtle Beach??? I remember some of these from my road trip a few years back!

The honest truth - I never have the money I need to travel, but I buy the ticket anyway. I’ve realized that money comes and goes, but the more I make, the harder it is to part with it and weirdly, ...
The semester I lived in Europe was without a doubt the best time I've spent in college. While I had more fun than I could've ever anticipated, I also made my fair share of slip-ups. Everyone is bound to make a handful of rookie study abroad mistakes....
Spring break in PCB turned into more of a party than I could have reasonably imagined! Here’s the skinny: 8 girls, 2 cars, tons of luggage (one duffel, one carry-on per person didn’t work), and 8 days on the road.
We drove in at around 10pm and had to go straight through town to get to our campsite (Yeah, you read that right: campsite.)
Now you’d think that drive would have been a little congested due to people arriving at the beach or trying to drive out. And you’d be partially correct. In fact, the drive was horrible. To the moron in the minivan from Indiana who literally sat in the middle of the intersection for 10 minutes before giving up and turning left, SCREW YOU ASSHOLE.
Anyway... the drive through town was, in a word, terrifying. I felt like I was driving through the hood. (I didn’t put any pics of that cause I was literally terrified of being shot. Which honestly wasn’t that far out...) As my friend put it so eloquently, I didn’t expect there to be a demographic in Panama City Beach but there most definitely is. Late at night in far east downtown, expect to see a lot of African Americans walking around in groups. Farther west and you’ll see more Caucasians. Not many asians though you’ll find plenty of Middle Eastern guys creeping in the clubs. Now these are observations and products of personal experience, not racism or prejudice.
Once we finally made our way to the campsite, we found that the ground was 100% gravel. So that tent we lugged all the way from Ohio? Yeah, it stayed in the trunk literally the entire trip. Oh well, live and learn. So we slept in the cars the first night. Of course, that meant that we were boiling hot. So our idiotic brilliant idea was to throw a sheet over the car while keeping the windows open. Bug bites. Everywhere. But it wasn’t as stuffy. I had to sleep in the driver seat (note: I’m literally the largest person in my car) but hey, its the give and take of travel. Everyone else slept pretty well... other than bug bites. A shower the next morning in literally the most amazing shower I’ve ever experienced (seriously, its better then the one I have at home. Water pressure that feels like a literal waterfall. I was in heaven. Ironic the cleanest I felt on the whole trip was at teh campground), cleared up my nasty morning mood.
After taking a few pics of the view from out campsite (Pic 1 and 2), we headed out to check out the Gator Pond in the park (Pic 3) and the beach (Pic 4). There are a ton more photos I still have to sort through but thats the gist. The water in the gulf was beautiful. Its the clearest I’ve ever experienced (Myrtle Beach and Newport Beach aren’t exactly know for their transparency.) I could actually see my feet sinking into the sand as the waves rolled in. It was incredible.
Up next: the crazy PCB on a Sunday afternoon/night.
