“I kept thinking about the uneven quality of time – the way it was almost always so empty, and then with no warning came a few days that felt so dense and alive and real that it seemed indisputable that that was what life was, that its real nature had finally been revealed. But then time passed and unthinkably grew dead again, and it turned out that that fullness had been an aberration and might never come back.”
— Elif Batuman, The Idiot (via quotespile)
I read The Evil Queen and her Knight that @insanetwin wrote for the SQ zine v1 and I love this fic sooo much! I stayed with this image in mind of the Queen and her Knight in their respective chambers, kept apart by that one door, longing to go see the other but not daring to... So I drew it ^^
Also, @entheia drew bookmarks based on this story and they are absolutely beautiful 😍
Lately I've been reading almost all Supercorp fanfic. But I knew I still had some SwanQueen fics I was curious about. I read this one first
