I have several ideas, actually. The gallery has been a bit lackluster lately, so I hope to bring some attention to it soon. Hopefully I won’t have to resort to sculpture.

And how have your travels been since? You should stop by Castelia City when you get the chance. I’d be happy to have a rematch with you.

Hmm… I’m sure you won’t have much trouble with that, especially if you have so many ideas. The exhibition in the gallery when I went there was really amazing, and I’m sure you’ll make it even better this time. [ smiles ]

My travels? I’ve been just exploring. I didn’t really get much time to do this before, so… It has been good. It’s good to rest for a while, but I missed my friends. I really need to stop by Castelia City again, I haven’t been back there in a while… And a rematch sounds like fun!

I’ve been fine, thank you. I found myself with a lot more free time recently, so I’ve been looking into a new project to start for the summer. 

And you? I haven’t seen you since that whole fiasco with Team Plasma.

A new project? Do you have any idea in mind?

I’ve been alright. Things have been calm since that, so I was traveling a lot, exploring the rest of Unova, you know? There is still a lot to see, but for now, I’m back home.

Apologies for my sudden absence, lately.

I've had to complete three paintings by today, and I just put finishing touches on the final one.

Fortunately, I am done with all other projects and I can have proper gym battles again. I feel so horrible for turning down trainers lately.

I guess that depends on what you’re looking for a reference picture of. [He pulls out his Pokedex, he shifts through the pages, pulling up Ho-Oh’s] This was the Pokemon I saw, if it helps. [He shows Arti the Pokedex, pointing to the picture of Ho-Oh on it’s screen]

Finally, I have one painting complete!

Of course, I said this 3 times before and had to add something to it. 

But this time, I am certain that it is complete.

Yeah! I’m from Johto! Newbark Town, to be exact! It’s really pretty down there. I think you should visit sometime; you might find an awesome landscape to paint for your gallery.

I’ve wanted to visit Johto. I’ve been told they have a few interesting bug type Pokemon. 

A landscape may be nice, but the Kimono girls sound like a far more interesting subject.

Yeah, there are lots of interesting bug-types in Johto! There are ones like Scizor and Heracross!  The Kimono Girls..they’d make a really good painting too! Especially if you could’ve seen them the way I did. It was so amazing; their dance…the bells…the legendary Pokemon…oh my gosh. [Sort of day dreaming about that part of his adventure]

That must have been quite a sight. If only I could have seen such beauty.

Although, that does give me an idea for a project.

You could say it comes naturally to me. I’ve been painting and drawing ever since I was a child. 

Of course, practice always makes perfect.
