Honoring all with indigenous features.
I remember when I was younger and this YouTuber I watched got rid of her indigenous nose and I was like heart broken

Cats Against Catcalls Print
Do you just love cats and want to shout about it? Also, do you wanna fight against the patriarchy and catcalling? This 5"x5" print combines feminism with some tongue and cheek imagery. Its black and white with just a pop of colour to deliver a clear message. Printed on matte paper with archival ink.

Indefinite Hiatus
Thank you to everyone who has supported this online exhibit and continued to spread positive, all-inclusionary messages to the world around you. Without your support and participation this never could have been possible.
I started this exhibit last summer in conjunction with the Feminist Art Conference and WIA projects, and in that short period of time this blog has gained over 5,000 followers. To some, that’s not many. To me, even one person spreading these messages would have been enough.
Unfortunately, due to a lack of submissions and my own personal time constraints, I won’t be able to keep this blog updated regularly. Scouring tumblr tags for new art to share is very time consuming and I need to focus on new projects.
If you like this project and want to see it grow/continue, submit your artwork (fitting theme and message) or tag it with #insertfeminism and I will gladly post it. And follow me on instagram/FB/etc @ohlordyitsjulia if you want to see some of my new work.
Thank you for all of your past submissions and continue being the fantastic people I know you all to be.
Best, Julia

i appreciate @allthecanadianpolitics providing well-sourced articles so that i can match what my prime minister says with the policy that is actually enacted.

Did any of you attend the women’s day march?
Stayed up ‘til 4 in the morning working on this bad boy– a submission to the Women’s March on Washington call for art. I’d love for it to be chosen, knowing my artwork is there, standing strong for women’s rights when I wasn’t able to (I WILL be at the sister march in Austin though!) I’m also aware, though, that I went a little crazy with the illustrative part and it may not make for a great political poster… oh well!

Everyone deserves to use the facilities consistent with their identity. Do not let any close-minded legislation, person, or company make you think otherwise. Your comfort, your safety, and your sense of self matters. You matter.
