Sometimes things need to fall apart so the pieces can fall into place.

It's the medium that can really make a piece of art beautiful.

What are you choosing to build upon, and how are you changing its meaning into something else?

Because that's all that art is, right? Transformation.

Everything you create has already existed, either in your sight or in your heart or in your mind, and then you extend that meaning to your fingertips so that it can exist for someone else.

I wonder why, so often, when two lines are drawn to diverge from one, their respective thicknesses are approximately the same as the line they both originated from.

And I think, given the constraints of space and definition and human error,

they were never really together but they compressed themselves so much to give the illusion of coexistance.

Is this what happens when art meets science?

"I don't feel like artists can ever be on the same page." Then how can they write together?

Bradley the dog needs a home

Hey there everybody,

I’ve been debating whether or not to adopt this wonderful animal for the last week. He’s a fantastic pitbull mix (possibly some lab in there), with the most wonderfully chill temperament.

Bradley is five months old and learns very quickly. He would be an excellent companion or family dog, because he loves dogs and people but doesn’t force himself on either. He’s not neutered yet, which is amazing because he’s so well behaved. None of that jumping all over the place, destroying furniture, chewing on shoes, or peeing on things like most puppies do. He’s a very special animal and he needs a home as soon as possible.

As much as I have dreamt of taking him in, my current living situation doesn’t permit it, so I’m reaching out to you guys to see if anyone is in need of an excellent animal. He’s currently in Orange County, being looked after by the wonderful folks who found him, but they can’t keep him for much longer. He’ll be going to a shelter soon if no one adopts him, and I would hate for that to happen because he’s such a well-mannered, happy boy.

He's been sleeping right next to me for the past hour and a half. I really wish I could keep him because he truly is a great dog. If anybody could take him even just for a year, then I'll be out of school and can take him back (if they'd even be willing to give him up after so much bonding, he's such a sweetheart :P).

I leave for school on the 20th so he's really running out of time. We've contacted all the rescues in the area but they're either full or haven't gotten back to us. Anything you can do to help would be awesome. Thanks :)

I hate when people talk about music but don't talk about how it makes them feel.

Emotions are more important than whatever else you may think about music, because music, in its purest form, is the opposite of thinking.

Let go.

All that separates them is a perspective.

There's a reason why our eyes are turned outside of ourselves.

All that's important to know doesn't need to be seen.

And then we dream.

It's most likely transparent.

When you say all of your reality is working against you, your first instinct is to live against it, and it becomes darker and darker as you scrunch your eyes tight in frustration

and as you forget why your back is always tight  your knees are always locked  your fists are always clenched

ignorance becomes bliss.

You're not floating when you're pushing yourself up.
