                                 ☀ "Wise, very wise Mercury." Chuckled the sun as he shook his head. "Why don't we go do something together?" That would be nice, right?

"…He’s not doing a good job." He kinda was - he certainly had Uranus’ attention, that was for fucking sure. Uranus was almost obsessively stalking the larger planet, all in attempts to keep him away and keep his things (and himself) safe. "He should just… leave me alone."

                                 ☀ He was too~ but Solis didn't say that aloud. The star scooted closer and rested his head on the others shoulder, finally cool enough to touch things without lighting them up. "Is that what you really want?" he asks. "Huh, Uranus? Do you really want to shut everyone out?" He pauses. "Are you prepared to stay within your own little world forever?"

He looked over, then looked away again. Ugh. This was hard. “…No. Every time we talk he just pisses me off.” Even though there was that one time he gave him a book… that was… kinda nice-ish… right?

                                 ☀ It was hard but it was needed. Uranus needed to learn to lean on someone other than Neptune and Solis was prepared to share his burdens. "I'm beginning to get the feeling that he just wants your attention and pissing you off is the only way he knows to get it." Shit, he might be jumping the gun with this one but it surely sounded that way. Nice-ish..wasn't going to cut it.

Uranus just made these pained sounds when Solis said he was sorry, covering his face with his other hand. Damnit haha. Maybe that warmth did get to him a little bit. “…I told him not to.. I told him I’d fight him but he just kept pushing..” And Uranus wasn’t exactly one to back down - to anything for that matter. Out of all the planets, he was knocked around until he was completely on his side, insides spilling out into space… he wasn’t someone who could afford to back down, or submit when his things were touched. He didn’t have much left. “He’s always pushin me.”

                                 ☀ Solis dropped to his stomach and laid there beside the other. This was good -- they needed to talk instead of trying to rip out each others throats. Listening to Uranus caused the star to sigh through his nose. "Have you ever asked him why he's always pushing you, Uranus?" There had to be a reason, right? Solis was sure Jupiter wasn't the way he was just to be it -- Solis was sure that sometimes he was but not all the time, right?

Uranus was so frustrated. When he was slammed down, a hand shot out and clawed into his arm, ice and heat meeting, sending waves of smoke and steam into the air. “Then just leave me alone! I don’t need you!” He snapped, so angry, and wanting to fight.. but at the end of the day, he did want daddy’s love, like all the others did. He didn’t want to be cast out, like Pluto was. He wanted to be happy with Neptune and his moons…

                                 ☀ Those simple words were enough to clear the Sun of his anger and his own clouded mind. Solis stood there for a moment before he dropped to his knees beside the planet, falling forward and resting on his hands. "I'm sorry." he muttered which called for him to swallow most of his pride. "--it's not you that I'm angry with." Solis mumbled.. "But I am tired of all this fighting." Though, he was just tired in general.
